Solid No Shake or Rattling 👍
This is much better than any of the plastic ones. There is very little camera shake hardly any. It's only apparent only with big bumps. Use with a camera with image stabilization there is zero shake. Its solid. Mounting with the screws was a little time consuming as the heads where too small to use your fingers so you have to use the hex head the whole time. Which they include. The adjustments are smooth and easy. The turn screw makes mounting a camera so much easier than spinning your camera onto a 1/4 20. I don't know if this can handle bigger cameras but it handles action cameras and phones just fine. It is pricey but well worth it considering how much I spent on plastic ones that rattle and shake. There is no rattling on this one. I spent a lot of time trying to remove rattling noises from the plastic ones I've purchased. If it was lower in price I would pick up a few more. It is a good attachment for tripods too. 😁

Great for Recording Autocross and Track Events
I use this camera mount to record GoPro footage of autocross and track events on my ‘21 BMW and it works perfectly. The mount is incredibly rigid even when the car is at its limit and combined with the GoPro’s in-body stabilization, the footage is always perfectly stable. I included an image of the setup as well as an example of the kind of footage it allows me to capture.

Good
I gave it a 5 because its excually good and you can just send 10 20 mine find the angle you want and leave it there. You might think 60 is quite expansive but it's all metal. Even the gopro mount is all metal. The only plastic part is the valve maybe. I also bought a 20 dollar cheaper version so I can do a quick mount when I travel. But this one you van just leave it in yout car mounted and not worry anything.

Ditch the Suction Cup, Go With This.
I've used this mount in a variety of cars. Like others are saying, this is head and shoulders above the suction cup mounts for in-car footage. The suction cups are great for getting certain odd angles, assuming you can find a solid mount point. On the other hand, this guy can get some great angles that the suction cup mounts generally can not, and seems to produce a greatly steadier shot. Because of the headrest mounting position, the angle also feels nicely cinematic -- practically a classic over-the-shoulder shot. This thing feels solid, which probably also helps with steadying any latent vibrations. The majority of it is made of metal, with the exception of a few minor plastic parts. It tightens around your headrest via a small hex bolt, which makes attaching and detaching a bit of a process, but not too much (and also likely steadies the shot). The only case where I've had an issue with this mount is in vehicles that employ a novel headrest design, or merge the headrest with the seat (e.g. the seats in Tesla cars). With several pivot points along it's length, it's very simple to adjust the positioning of the go pro and get a variety of angles. With the wide angle of the Go Pro, it captures driver, passenger, and center cluster, with enough headroom to also get a bit of outside-the-windows context. Worth it for the price if you're looking to get solid in-vehicle shots.

Great mount, GoPro has issues
The mount is solid. My only complaint is more an issue when I use my GoPro Hero 5 session. I have worked extensively with multiple tech support people at GoPro, and I constantly have the same issue with the audio. It appears that the camera is overwhelmed by the vibrations caused by this mount and locks in on those particular frequencies and amplifies them from time to time. This happens more often than not, and I believe it to be a GoPro issue. I've gone so far as to set up external mics, and I still get the problem from the camera. When I use other brand cameras, they do not exhibit this issue. Really bums me out because I love the video quality of my GoPro, but I want good audio...so its either find a different camera, or get a different mount for me.

Probably the Best Mount for In-Car POV Recording
This mount is a useful product with solid all-metal construction. I researched quite a few mounts for this purpose, and considered building my own. For the price of the Trackform mount, building something of the same quality would require more in time & materials. The build quality and finish is equal or better than the interior parts of most sport and luxury cars, so it doesn't stick out that much. The modular assembly means you can remove a section to make a shorter mount - I really like this option. Honestly, I wasn't too sure how well the mount would stay in place, being anchored to just one post on the headrest, but it's solid - enough so the camera will not move, or vibrate as long as the seat is still, but not so rigid as to become a safety concern in a collision. If you put enough force on it, it will rotate, but this requires considerable effort. Folding the seat forward and returning upright has never caused the camera position to move over several days of use. Tip: if you're concerned about scratching the finish of your headrest support post, cut two pieces of adhesive-backed 1/8" foam rubber sheet to the size of the mounting clamp and apply to both inside surfaces of the clamp. Tighten the four screws until the mount is solid. This won't be quite as rigid as without the foam, but more than enough to support a GoPro with no issues.

Golf R
Used this for a track day in my ‘18 Golf R, and it was flawless! Puts everything where it should be, gives a nice perspective and is most importantly out of the way enough to set and forget. The base has a screw in so it’s very sturdy to mount your go-pro to it, I used a Hero 7 Black with an aftermarket aluminum case that worked perfect with this mount and the screw in style. Also after I was finished with track day Instead of taking it all apart and off my headrest, I was able to pivot and turn it so that it’s 100% out of the way for day to day use but I could swing it around and mount a camera again in less than a minute if I want/need to and that’s been really cool. Overall I would buy this again and recommend for anybody doing track days especially
