The most comfortable pool float I have owned in 19 years!!
UPDATED REVIEW, 06/09/13: I have gotten over 2 years use out of this float. It has it's "issues" - has faded pretty badly, loses a bit of air in the chambers requiring you put a bit more in the air chambers weekly, and it is a BEAST to blow up yearly (it has 8 air chambers). Besides all this, I continue to find it the most comfortable pool float I have ever had, and with 2 years use, durable as well. The float is heavy enough that it has never been blown out of our pool during a thunderstorm, so this adds considerably to the durability factor. I prefer to float in a mostly upright position so I can read, look around, etc., so this float is ideal for me. I purchased this pool lounge chair/float about 2 months ago. It has been used many times in the past 2 months. I do not like to write reviews until I have given the product a "good run". So, with this pool float, so far/so good! This pool float is, by far, the most comfortable pool float I have ever owned in my 19 years as a pool owner. Let me give you the good and the few "bad" points. Good: 1). Super comfortable 2). The "fabric" is actually a pretty durable, high density polyester but it does have a fabric like feel and is non-sticky and comfortable. 3). It has been used at least 50 times in the past 2+ months and is holding it's own as far as durability in a chlorine based pool environment. 4). It does need a few puffs of air in some of the air baffles/pockets every week or so, but no big deal ............. no major leaks of any kind. ALL pool floats need the occasional bit of air added to compensate for air loss from the expansion/contraction from the sun and then cooler nights. The "bad" points: 1). There are multiple (8) air baffles that need inflated. Someone had mentioned how difficult it was to inflate some of the air baffles/pockets and then re-insert them into the proper compartments...............!? I don't know what would possess someone to remove the baffles to fill them!? I did remove the air baffles/bladders to stretch them out a bit and decompress them. I then re-inserted them back into their respective areas before I inflated them................no problems. 2). The "cup holder" is a joke...........really! It does not align well with the hole in the air bladder beneath, but if it is important to you and you do persist, you can get it to hold a standard beer/soda can or bottle. 3). As a previous reviewer mentioned you really do NOT rest back into a reclined position as the portrait suggest; the "model" on the box must be pushing back. This chair holds you in a fairly upright position. To allow my head to rest back a bit, I found that if I only put a bit of air into the very top (small) air bladder on the headrest you can rest your head back a bit. However, anyone who purchases this who has a cervical spine issue or who wants to recline backwards will be disappointed. Overall, I am very pleased with this pool float and if I get 2 or 3 seasons out of it I will be happy. It is hands down the most comfortable pool float I have ever owned (but I like sitting upright on a pool chair) and it can handle a person 200#+ if necessary and still remain buoyant.

Don't waste your money
It's ironic that when I opened this it said "purchased 3 times". I sent the first one back because it didn't hold air for more than a few hours. The company was going to refund around $7 for by $63 purchase - called it a "re-stocking" fee. A restocking fee? How could you restock it if it was defective? The second one came and ... same thing .... We inflated it, use it for the afternoon, the next morning it was flat. Returned it and got another one, but now it doesn't arrive until Fall - too cold to use it. Took it out this past weekend, inflated it, Guess what? You know it. Deflated within a few hours. Now I can't return it because I'm past the window. I guess I'll suck it up. Design is great, VERY VERY VERY poor quality!!

Versatility for the PERFECT comfort level!
I have been in search of the "perfect" lounger. For me, this is something that is comfortable and does not hurt my neck area. I decided to try this even though I did see some mixed reviews. It is a great float! If you blow it up correctly, and push in the air locks, you will not have any issues. It does not just leak air. All sections blow up just fine too. I saw one review where they were showing that one arm did not blow up correctly. Each area has a large, inserted sturdy inflatable section so all you need to do is make sure it is not all wrinkes up so air can fill properly if you even have this issue. I love the versatility - you can have it all filled with air or (like me) lower the air in the back/neck areas. This has been a game changer for comfort. I finally have the float I need - comfort for my neck and ability to add/remove air to adjus to just the perfect height. I also found that if you want a chair - you can just fold up that leg extention and it pushes intl the seat section. Then you can literally float around as if you are sitting in a chair. Get this - it is a great float at a good price. I think it will make it thru many season. Gotta go get in it now!

First one great, next two bad. EDIT: another bad one
I bought one of these floaties last year. I filled it with air once, and it seems like it hasn’t lost a smidgen of air over the course of a whole year! I left it out in the elements for a year, and it’s very faded and a couple areas have minor tears, but that’s my bad for leaving it outside for a year. Regardless, this floatie is still kicking and with that in mind, and the comfort level, I would give it a 5. Flash forward to this year (2022). I wanted to replace the old one, only because it was looking pretty trashy. I bought a new one and realized within minutes there was a major leak in the biggest part of the floatie. If it was almost any other part (and there are 6-7 parts to the floatie that you blow up separately) I could have lived with it. So I returned it and bought yet another one. It, too, has a leak in the same part of the floatie, but it’s a much smaller leak and easier to live with. Bottom line: first one, great experience; second and third ones, bad experience. If you buy this I would advise you fill it up completely, let it sit a day or two, see if it has deflated in any way. If not, pool time! If so, return time. I say this because if you want to return it after you tried it out in your pool, it’ll be a pain because you have to wait until it completely dries before packaging it back up. EDIT: bought a new one in May (?) and it has been a dream. It faded very quickly but it has no holes and that’s all that really matters. Bought a new one for hubby and guess what? Biggest part of the floatie has a leak and it’s unusable. I procrastinated and now can’t return it. I think I’ve purchased 5 and 3 have been defective. I guess it’s a buyer beware situation now because although I love the floatie when it works, you can’t be sure it WILL work.

Needs improvement
The canvas cover seems sturdy and I like the look of it. I had a similar product for over 15 years which I liked better because it only had two compartments to fill with air: one large 'U' shaped tube which had a large opening (easy to fill using a leaf blower!) and a back/neck rest. And the tubes held air all summer in our bath house. My husband took this one out of the box and was disappointed that there were 6 tubes to fill with air and the main compartment wouldn't hold air because it came to us with a tiny hole so near a seam that a patch wouldn't fix it. We never got to use it. One call to customer service, and we were sent an entirely new float. It holds air fairly well. I agree with other comments that many people over-inflate their tubes and this one works better when the main tube is not fully inflated in my opinion. I am not sure that an especially wide person would fit. The zippered compartment could have been a bit larger and water proof like the other brand that I had for such a long time.

Repeat purchase--not the same quality this time around...
Was thrilled to see that these were still being manufactured, but was somewhat disappointed to notice inferior quality right out of the box. This is a repeat purchase--previously owned a total of four floats, acquired at two different times over the years. The first two lounges we owned--although we were tough on them: left out in the elements all summer, didn't always deflate in-between seasons--lasted for four years. We ordered another two and replacements were of identical quality to the first pair--and they received the same treatment and we experienced the same outcome--faded, but still delivered on comfort and "floatability". However, the chairs this time around are scrawny compared to the others; the interior floats seem to be of lesser quality; and all the seams on exterior covers appear to be weaker and pulling apart (even with correct inflation). Not sure yet how these will fare durability-wise over the summer--I'll update review at the end of pool season--but the initial impression is not what I have experienced previously. And for full disclosure, physically, I am the same size as I was nine years ago when we had the first lounges--so (I'm fairly confident) my observations are not a matter of altered perception.

Best most comfy chair float! Look no further!!
Best float out there!!! Do not waste your money on any others!!! I have probably owned every chair float on the market and paid a ton for some! My husband thinks I have a pool float shopping problem...lol! Didn’t want a flat float or just a sling chair-was looking to sit up but still be able to have my legs out of the water. So Super comfortable you can even adjust the back rest and neck pillow-the less you inflate the more u can lay back! Can deflate the leg rest and use as a chair too. Cradles your body... so comfy! Great for tanning because of the leg rest. Good cup holder. Zippered pocket on the arm rest-wish it was a tad bigger to fit my iPhone 8 Plus ( May fit a small phone) but good for sunglasses, and little things. Very durable- cloth cover zips over separate vinyl chambers you blow up-great that it has different sections-let’s you adjust firmness of different parts...neck pillow, leg pillow, back. Easy and quick to blow up! On my second float- 1st one lasted a few summers-think it would have lasted a lot longer if all the kids weren’t so rough with it! They now know not to go near moms float!! Also used it on the Lake with some rough waters and held up good. Do not waste your time looking for any other float... this is the best out there!

So uncomfortable
The seat has no support. It is super puffy blown up at the head and feet so when you sit the torso dips down. I don’t understand why there’s no back/torso support. Waste of money.

Garbage! Went flat the very first time used.
This chair is garbage! A Christmas gift for my wife & the very first time I inflated it the arms & back rest went flat within a couple of hours. I wouldn't go near this product & I'll be contacting the supplier for a full refund.

Sillon flotante

Poor craftsman ship and filled with water
Don't buy this product. Within a month the outer shell started to fall apart ... zipper broke, the material started to fall apart, and the unit would fill with water. Very uncomfortable design and a waste of my money. Of course no return was possible
