Great keyboard case, nice strong and stylish protective case for my iPad Pro 11, Bluetooth detachable keyboard works great, connects easily to Bluetooth and every time I turn it on it reconnects quickly and works well, love the backlighting feature with several different colors to choose from, I returned my last one that was exactly the same except didn’t have the lights and was only $5 cheaper. Has a spot for a pen and hold a charge forever.

All in all this was a solid case. The case has magnets that keep the keyboard in place in numerous positions. This is helpful for transport or when typing. The holder for the Apple Pencil has a helpful opening in the back for you to push the pencil out. The Apple key works on the keyboard to access Shortcuts to access Shortcuts. With my previous iPad I didn’t carry a keyboard. I didn’t fully realize how much bulk that would add. In fairness to this case and keyboard it’s about as thin as you could make it, but be prepared for the additional size/weight. I also bought a different model and did appreciate that this one has a coating on the back of the keyboard which makes it look more finished. There Is also a button that allows you to turn the back light on the keyboard completely off. The keyboardIs also a button that allows you to turn the back light on the keyboard completely off. The keyboard has a built in rechargeable battery that recharges via a standard micro USB port. The pencil charges without removing the iPad from the case - but the pencil must be on top vs in the pencil holder. Net - based on using this for a couple of weeks I’d recommend it and buy it again.

I got this to replace two items, a high end thin protective cover The Muse Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TRH2MZY/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_baqaEbEZY6N97 and separate folding but full size backlit keyboard. Was it worth the trade-offs to get both these items into one? I will use it for a few weeks and see if I change my mind on my initial thoughts. UPDATE: After a six weeks of use I am think I like the convenience of having the option of having a keyboard within the cover. My main concerns still exist which is the lack of Sleep/Wake function when closing/opening the case but I can still recommend it. PRO -Secure storage for Apple gen2 pencil and it can not be dislodged accidentally. There is a small cutout for your finger to easily push out the pencil from its' storage. You can recharge the pencil through the case without removing it. -the magnetic keyboard is detachable and has good tactile feedback when typing. Love the backlighting and the ease to change to the three illumination levels and colors. -I can recharge the keyboard battery directly from the iPad Pro USB-C port using my Nomad cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TRH2MZY/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_baqaEbEZY6N97 cable. CON - IT WON'T SLEEP/WAKE IPAD WHEN YOU CLOSE/OPEN THE COVER. - Just a little heavier and thicker than I would have liked but that is one of the trade-offs. The Apple version is more compact and lighter than this since it doesn't use a battery. - the PU Leather description is a little over-exaggerated. The look and feel is like rubber with a texture. -the keyboard is a little undersized compared to a standard keyboard layout but that was necessary to fit the iPad Pro case. I got used to it OK but it does take a little getting used to and I can not type as fast using it yet. -

This is almost the perfect iPad case. The keyboard feels great, the cover is thin and durable. The only thing I don’t like is the slot for The Apple Pencil. It’s incredibly difficult to pull the pencil out of the slot and you will end up damaging your Apple Pencil like I did. They could’ve easily did without it says you can placed a pencil on the charging side in the cover has an extra flap to cover it. It still gets five stars from me since it is a simple thing to avoid

It is an Apple product, hard to get it wrong.

I did not know it was removable, which makes the case cover so much slimmer, and lets you choose on if you want to leave the keyboard at home for travel when you do not need it.

Not only does it protect your iPad Pro, but it also makes typing on it feel cool. The keyboard is gentle, so be careful when opening up or closing the cover to not jar the keyboard magnet away to far unexpectedly

Works absolutely great! Easy to travel with, great battery life. I can leave the keyboard behind if wanted. The case is durable and has a slight texture which makes it easier to hold and grasp.
