Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner/Detangler - (2 Pack of 8 oz)

There is no better care out there for curls. I use it as a co wash every other shampoo, a pretreat for my ends, a regular rinse out conditioner, a leave in. If keep my hair soft and my curls happy. I've been through probably 20 bottles over time, I check out other products, but always come back. It plays well with other brands too.

This stuff is AMAZING. My husband has the CURLIEST froe-y hair lol it drives him nuts so after reading tons of reviews I decided to try this for him and he loves it. It makes his hair tangle free, soft, and not weighed down. His hair looks good for days.

I've been using this for about 2 months now and it is, by far, my favorite leave in product for my curly hair! I had been using the same leave in product for years as it was the only thing I could find that made my hair shiny and made my curls behave. Even after it was discontinued I could still find it online and had stocked up. I recently depleted my supply and had searched online for a suitable replacement with no luck. I saw an article about Kinky Curly Knot Today and found it at a local store so thought I would try it. I was thrilled that I actually like it better than my old favorite!! It's creamy but not super thick and has a wonderful coconut smell! My old vaorite leave in had a slimy consistency where this is mostly creamy and just a little slimy. I put a generous amount of it in my soaking wet hair at the end of my shower, then I bend over and squeeze out the excess while scrunching up my curls. It dries nice and soft and not at all crispy or crunchy. The first time I used it I actually put it on my hair while it was just a little damp and was not happy with the results. Actually thought I didn't like the product. But, once I tried putting it on soaking wet hair, I realized I LOVE it! You can also use to to detangle knots and then rinse out if you don't use a leave in product but, if you have curly hair, you really should be using a leave in product! Since I have been using Kinky Curly Knot Today, I very rarely use a regular conditioner in my hair. I hardly ever wash my hair, something else that is good for us curly heads, so this is pretty much the only product I use in my hair on a daily basis. The ingredients are: Organic mango fruit extract, organic slippery elm, organic marshmallow root, organic lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance. This product is made in the USA, which is always a bonus as my family tries to buy as many products as we can that are made in the USA. And it is cruelty free, meaning no animal testing was done on this product. It's funny, I had been looking for a leave in product that has slippery and/or marshmallow root and didn't realize until looking at the ingredients just now that this contains both! If you have curly or wavy hair and are looking for something to get your knots out or a leave in to make your hair shiny and soft, you really should give this a try!

This is a gentle product that works very well for tangles in curly/frizzy hair. No harsh chemicals or fragrance. Also good with hair that has been dyed. Doesn't strip color. I've used it for more than a few years, off and on. But as I age I find it works even better with my hair as its a bit finer, and more likely to break.

This is actually by my wife: My hair type is 2b and it's perfect for me. It moisturizes the curls, adds a healthy volume look to the hair, and it helps in detaining my curly hair. Surprisingly it also worked as a protecting element when I went swimming. I still haven't kept it for more than 2 days but on the second day the elastic didn't ruin the curls as it used to, and this made my second day hair very good. Pros: Acts as a moisturizer and curls definer, detangler, protector and it's not greasy. Cons: adds volume so if u already have a very thick hair it might turn humongous on the second day, and as it adds volume and curls so it makes the hair look a lot shorter.

Until I started using Kinky Curly Knot Today over a year ago, I struggled with finding a leave-in conditioner that would keep my natural 4c hair conditioned and make it easier for me to complete my detangling process on wash day. I swear by this product and I have my sister to thank for recommending it to me as I was looking for a product with natural ingredients. I have been ordering KCKT from this supplier more recently and to date, I have never had an issue with shipping, bottle breakage, product leaks or odor. A little goes a long way so I'm not even upset with the higher price point (to be clear, this is not permission for the supplier to increase the prices). Buying the two bottles may seem like a lot but sometimes I find it's not always available. I think this a great deal. I seal everything in with a DIY hair butter, braid my hair and keep them in for a few days before wearing a braid-out. With letting the steam of the shower hit the braids every day and running my damp hands over my head, the product is reactivated. My hair is incredibly soft all week and my hair is thriving. I highly recommend the product and this supplier and will continue to order the two-bottle pack through them.
