Pickled Quail Eggs pop with perfectly punchy peppery puckering perfection!
Purchased these to go on the spread for Thanksgiving. Not ever eating quail, and only running into the first I've seen in a wild this year thought it to be a fun treat. Found these and ordered. Never having something like this before, I'll try and detail. Flavor: Each is actually unique. The whites are firm like you would expect from a pickled egg, while the yokes remain normal and creamy just like a boiled egg. The Mild taste almost like a fine white cheese- very creamy and smooth. The brine offers a bit of vibrancy that rounds out the flavor well with onion. The Cajun are almost like a spicy pickled vegetable mix. Not spicy, but pretty dynamic in flavor. A nice contrast. The "Hot" are actually kinda spicy! Jalapeno often gets funky when pickled with other things, but these guys have it down! They were actually my favorite, while others gravitated to the Cajun. They aren't overly salty, and there is no odd after taste. Included veggies are good too! Size: They are small and fun as you expect. About the size of a standard grape. Color: Color is of a light off-white, and uniform through the egg. The yokes are light, and were a fun surprise. Packaging: Neat carrier found standard glass jars. No leaks and good seals even after Amazons world renowned delivery Critiques: The firm white and the creamy yolk may be an odd texture profile for some. I didn't mind. Others did. Ideas: Would make a very fun deviled egg spread for someone with the time- would be killer on salads. Value for the Money: For random events that need a touch of interest or class, they're a fun treat. Bit pricey if they were to be a staple. Overall an excellent treat, that is surprising from the internet, and will find me buying again!

Enjoyed all 3 and will definitely buy again
All 3 jars showed up very well packaged and in great condition. The 3rd jar isn't in the picture because we haven't opened it yet. We've had the spicy flavor before because it's the only flavor for sale locally so we were already familiar with that one. Even the mild jar is a little on the spicy side so the spice level picks up from there. The mild flavor and Cajun flavors both have more complex flavor than the spicy one - both are fantastic. I'd say in order of increasing spice level: Mild, Cajun, and then Spicy. The Cajun kind of has a little bit of a crab boil or old bay taste to it with maybe a pinch of cayenne. Out of curiosity, I did try the jalapeños in the brine and they were pretty good too, not too spicy. The mild is tamer than the cajun flavor with more pickled carrots and onions in it, very nice for a snack tray with other goodies. I like to bring a small container of these as snacks with my lunch since I don't really need anything to help balance the spice. The spicy one kicks hard - definitely recommend having something to drink nearby and maybe having those with some cheese. It tastes great. at first you get the flavor (which is great) but that spiciness follows and it's enough to make my nose run.

2 of the 3 jars were excellent
For the Spicy: Heed the warnings of the other comments about these eggs. Mine came well packaged with a white unbroken seal. However, it appeared that the eggs had been shaken almost completely apart. The color of mine was a white substance also. I do believe that was from the shaken and broken eggs. The eggs in my jar were all broken up. Some of the eggs were halves/quarters/pieces. They were overcooked and falling apart. Save your money because there is no refund and buy a different brand or flavor. The other 2 jars were delicious. I really enjoyed them. I just fell it's too expensive for 2 out of 3 jars. I don't like to leave a bad comment; but, this time I felt I needed to. :)

Excellent flavor!
Never had quail eggs before, but I have had pickled chicken eggs, and I think the main difference beside size is texture. I didn’t find it off putting but the whites were really firm and the yolks were very soft, where a chicken egg typicall is about the same firmness throughout. Amazing flavors, absolutely fantastic. I wasn’t sure about getting a 3pack but this is going on my reorder list for sure. I think the jalepeno is my favorite but it’s tough to say for sure, because the Cajun and the mild are both really tasty as well. They seem to all have a bit of a kick to them.

Taste and Quality ingredients. MEH!
Not my cup of tea. Texture a bit rubbery but that might just by me. Would have liked less hot variety but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
