Good clean threads, quality fitting

These fittings appear to be a decent stainless steel fitting. However, they aren't for the plumbing repairs of plastic waterline that required insert type fittings, these fittings are very loose in the pipe and will result in leaks. These fittings afte probably intended for use with soft hoses and tubing.

The connectors seem good quality, however the barb end slipped very easily into the 1" black plastic pipe and I couldn't tighten the hose clamps enough to keep from leaking. Ended up using a common 1" steel fitting instead, which took some effort to get into the pipe - which is normal.

Heavier and the threads are cut very nicely, they threaded into a 1” pipe without any issues whatsoever and were very smooth going in. They are also much heavier than the store bought pieces, I’d recommend these over store bought any day.

These are a very nice quality fitting BUT, The only problem is they were milled way under sized. The 1" hose barb will drop into a 1" black plastic pipe and rattle if you shake the pipe. I used 3 hose clamps and could not get it to stop leaking. Went in trash and I bought a brass one local, and it fit as it should very tight and hard to install with no leaks.

I bought these to use on a water pump between my tank & house. The quality is outstanding. Using flexible tubing makes installation & maintenance much easier.

The metal is of seemingly good quality, it fits 1" id vinyl hose perfectly, I barely needed to use hose clamps. They threaded into 1" NPT pvc fittings perfectly. Good price for a good product.
