Chest Binder

First Criticisms: I thought about taking off a star because of the description, but I don't think that would be fair. I do recommend the manufacturer's change the description though, it says "Wearers often include mastectomy, transgender, FTM, tomboys, Ts, lesbians, or stage performer persons"... the target demographic should be FTM people, not "tomboys" or "lesbians". Sure they can purchase one if they want, but branding it as that is kind of spitting in the face of those who need it medically. It would be like branding prescription drugs as "Often used to treat medical problems, but also works if you just wanna have some fun too!"... not very appropriate. You wouldn't see a listing for a dress that says "Often worn by male to female transgenders!", because that's just dumb. The same logic applies here. The Binder: I've only just put it on, but my first impression is it's pretty comfortable. It's very thin which is nice, because it makes it lightweight instead of hard, bulky name-brand binders that are very visible through shirts. The wide neck allows me to wear most shirts without the straps showing, which is very relieving. I like how flexible the fabric is, it compresses instead of just putting up a flat "wall" like name-brand ones do. I also really like the ability to tighten it, whilst having it on. With over-head slip on binders, my big ahh head always ends up stretching them out, so it's nice I can avoid that. So far, it is well worth the price. Although, I have a small chest, so I'm not certain on whether it would be suited for someone with a larger chest. My expectations for the durability are pretty low, though. Although the thinness and flexibility is nice for comfort, this makes me doubt it will hold its shape for very long. In a month or two I will update my review on how it holds up. 4 Months Update: It's held up pretty well, obviously it stretches and loses its compression abilities as time goes on, but that is expected. I recommend wearing a thin shirt or second "smooth" binder underneath as the metal parts can dig into your skin and be uncomfortable. It's definitely my favorite binder I've purchased, I will be ordering these from now on.

This is honestly the most comfortable binder/bra I have ever worn. Straight out of the bag it fits exactly right. Pros and cons down below, but some quick raving about the product; this is the first binder I've felt comfortable wearing to work as an EMT with 12 hour labor intensive shifts. I'm an E/F cup and got the 2XL Gray and 2XL Black binders. Pros: -Super comfy and soft fabric, even on the inside/binding fabric -Fits perfectly if you use the size chart -Easy to put on (I recommend snapping the hooks and then pulling over your head as it's hard to see the snaps once its on you) -Can be worn on the looser snaps if you're wearing long term (but always do what is best for your body, if you get uncomfortable it's time for a binder break) -Flattens just the right amount, no weird bulging and not so flat it's awkward Cons: -Could be about an inch longer to account for tissue overflow with larger chested people (Leftie likes to peek out of the bottom just a tiny bit) -Slightly visible at the top with a texture line through shirt -A little too low cut, as someone with a larger chest there is about a half inch of cleavage showing, so I'd wear a different binder if I were wearing something like a lower scoop tank top. As a larger chested person, I understand the frustration with finding a binder that actually works in the right ways. This one is a great option if you're most worried about being comfortable, and don't mind a little cleavage. This binder would be most perfect on A-D cup sizes, but is absolutely doable for my brothers and siblings in the DD+ range. It binds well, is true to size, and is very soft on the skin.

Comfortable, stretchy, and good quality. It made me go from a B cup to less than an A cup. The clasps are easy to attach once you get the hang of it. However when I wore it on the tightest and second tightest clasps, there was some chafing. There’s a seam on the inside of the clasps that annoyed me, and the flap with the clasps chafed my armpit. On the loosest clasps, though, this wasn’t an issue. It fit as expected, and didn’t hinder my breathing. The only time I really felt it on my lungs was when I was rushing around for a couple minutes. I recently had a good experience with this binder. I wore it with a sweatshirt and jeans. I also put on some makeup to make me appear more masculine. Now, I’m tall for a woman and have an androgynous voice. However, I also have long hair and very feminine facial features. I went to a coffee place to order a drink. When I finished, the barista asked me, “Is there anything else, sir?” I’m not out of the closet yet, and this is the first time I’ve ever been gendered as a man. It was an awesome experience, and this binder helped!

If you are looking for a cheaper GC2B, this is not for you. It is quite a bit different than a GC2B binder. Pros: -does not hurt your back as much -very easy to put on and take off -flattens chest, would not recommend for people who have a larger chest though. Cons: -I have no idea of the legitimacy of this product in terms of the damage it might do to your ribs. I feel as though this is an ace bandage that is more even and less tight. -It is literally a piece of elastic with racerback straps attached to it - It might be a little short and you might get underboob spillage. - It rolls up towards the end of it - you need to order a size bigger or I am absolutely positive you are going to mess up your chances for top surgery. Other stuff you should know about this product: - It does not bind by putting pressure front and back, it binds from the sides -It is not too uncomfortable, however, there will always be a discomfort when it comes to binding. - It does not come in a tank style, which is not problematic for me, but it may be problematic for others. - DO NOT WEAR THIS FOR MORE THAN 8 HOURS!!!!!! No matter what purpose you are using for, that is NOT good for your ribs. This goes for any binder, not just this one. - Take a break from this at least once a week. If your chest is bigger make it 2-3 times a week. Again basic binding rules. - Do not put this in the dryer! it will warp and shrink, as does all elastic if you put it in the dryer, especially on high heat. If you really have to dry on low heat. Final Take: It does what it is supposed to do; however, I only bought this as a last-ditch effort because I forgot my binder at home and I am away from my home. I would still recommend getting a GC2B if you can afford it, underworks is a close second. For the non-trans people using this product not for drag purposes, Breh get a sports bra. Why go through the pain of binding? It's really not ideal at all. Working out with a binder can mess up your ribs too, THIS IS NOT A SPORTS BRA. I would not buy this product again, but the choice is yours ultimately and I can't control that. For the brand: Please make your vocabulary for the binder more trans-friendly, it will probably draw in wayyyy more trans customers (Take out the lesbian and tomboy vocab, that is lowkey transphobic). You have a ways to go, work on your product. Make it affordable AND SAFE. I doubt that this is safe. If it is safe through show me some statistics, please. Good luck to my fellow Trans Friends! i'm about a 38DDD last time i checked (but i'm not 100% sure bc i don't rly wear bras). i'm about 5'6 & 214lbs and i got a 3XL if it helps anyone. follow the size guide !! this binder binds better than my other current ones 😭 my gc2b was quite literally ripping in half so i had to get a (cheaper) replacement. each setting seems to be comfortable & breathable (although i only tried each on for a minute or two, maybe i'll update this if it's a bad binder long term). the material is comfortable and the arm bands aren't too wide so i have plenty of mobility in comparison to other binders. i understand there's going to be a slight bump always until i get top surgery bc my chest is so big however i loveee how much this binder brought it down. i layer most of my clothes anyways so it shouldn't be noticeable—great addition to my back to college shopping list :3

If you're looking for a chest binder as a transgender individual, do NOT buy this item! It is NOT for transgender chest binding! It's not the most comfortable to wear. The material used around the chest is uncomfortable and digs into the skin when tightened past the first clasp. The clasps themselves are also pretty weak and ripped out after only a few uses. It binds the whole way around, and for me, at least, makes the chest more prominent. It also caused bruises and pain on my ribs. Even at the loosest setting, I had a hard time breathing comfortably, despite getting a size bigger than my measurements suggested. Over all I wouldn't recommend it for those who are looking for a chest binder as a transgender individual. If your looking for something to exercise or swim in (as a sports bra), it's a pretty decent option. Just wasn't the best option for what I bought it for.

Easy to breath in, incredible quality for the price, the bottom connective part is a bit uncomfortable, so you might need to wear an undershirt but overall great product.

This is only the second binder I’ve ever used, it is a major upgrade to my first which was also a XUJI. The padding inside is very comfortable and the fit is snug, but I don’t feel like I’m being suffocated. I also love that it’s adjustable, great for if you need to unbind for a moment but don’t want to take everything off. I usually try to not bind for over five hours as it can be dangerous to go longer. With my past binder, I experienced a lot of chest pain even after an hour, but with this binder (which I ordered the same size) I’ve been feeling a lot less pain, almost none. My only complaint is that the wire hooks are very flexible. I had an instance where I leaned against something and the bottom hook shifted and dug into my skin, which was really uncomfortable and I couldn’t adjust since I didn’t want people to know I was binding. It could just be that mine was defective, but it’s something to keep in mind. I had it happen a second time and had to tuck a bit of my shirt under the clasp so it would stop digging into my skin, which isn’t ideal since that makes the binding uneven on your ribs. I think it would be better if maybe there was some sort of thin cloth divider that could go underneath and keep the prongs from touching your skin, or maybe something to go on top of the prongs to keep them from attaching to your shirt. But over all, I would recommend, especially if you bind for longer periods of time. The material is comfortable and if you get the right size it doesn’t feel like it’s suffocating you. I was also very impressed with how flat it made me look, since my other one didn’t make much of a difference. For reference I got a medium, I wear it on the loosest setting, and I’m pretty skinny. It flowed with my shape and looked super natural, I don’t think you’d be able to tell I was even wearing a binder, which is exactly what I was looking for!
