Does this accept a 1/4" mpt (male) fitting?

According the Product Description it has 1/4" NPT Ports

Does this use 1/4 FNPT or 1/4 NPT? Seems to conflict between the product description and the answers here.

I use 1/4” NPT fittings on this. It is my understanding that FNPT can be used, but a sealant may be needed.

What type of connections does it use? Can it go inline with the refrigerator supply line?
