I picked this up for my 45lb doodle who goes through most chew toys pretty quickly, and this one has held up noticeably better than a lot of others we’ve tried. The wishbone shape is a smart design—it’s easy for my dog to hold with their paws and really get a good grip while chewing. That alone keeps them engaged longer compared to round or awkwardly shaped toys. The material is very firm (definitely made for aggressive chewers), so it doesn’t get destroyed in one sitting. The real chicken flavor seems to do its job too. Zoey was interested right away and keeps going back to it, which isn’t always the case with harder chew toys. We’ve ordered several of these that have lasted for months, and my dogs are still working on them. Months. That alone feels like a small miracle. Normally, chews last about 10 minutes. Not this one. This thing is built like it trained for battle. It keeps them busy, satisfied, and focused on something that is actually meant to be chewed. And the best part? It’s way more affordable in the long run. Instead of constantly buying new toys, chews, or replacing destroyed shoes, this one just keeps going. Definitely worth every penny and then some. Updated 2/20/2026 for different product: This review is for the tiny bacon wishbone chew for aggressive chewers. Since my dog likes the tiny bacon puppy chews, I decided to try the tiny bacon chew for aggressive chewers so it would last longer. It arrived in a plain brown Amazon envelope without any of the usual Benebone packaging around it, so I wonder if it’s a fake. I gave it to my dog, and he basically tasted it, but had ignored it since then. He won’t even pick it up, not even if I try to hand it to him. He’s an 11-pound Shih Tzu, so maybe it just doesn’t suit him. I will continue to buy the Tiny Benebone puppy chews, but won’t buy this one for him again. I love that Benebone chews offer a Tiny size, which is perfect for toy breeds like mine. They don’t have a lot of ingredients, which I also like. He chews on the puppy ones multiple times every day. My dog loves the tiny puppy bacon bone I bought him, but he doesn’t like the peanut butter flavor at all. My guest’s dog didn’t like the peanut butter flavor either. I like that these don’t have a lot of ingredients, and they also stand up pretty well to chewing if you buy the right size for your dog. I have a small dog who’s not an aggressive chewer, so the tiny size works great for him. It’s difficult to find dog chews for small dogs, so I was happy to find this. He loves it, and he chews on it every day. It was pricey, but if it lasts a decent amount of time, it will be worth it.

These are great. Last awhile for my dogs who are aggressive chewers. Just make sure you watch where you’re walking because I broke and dislocated my ankle on one of these. It’s HARD! Ya, no more in my house.

My dog really took to this bone right away. It does last a very long time and despite going at it for weeks, it still has a lot of life left. However, my dog has stashed it away somewhere in the house and no one seems to know where....not even him. But if we were able to find it, im sure he would still be chewing away for a while yet.

Both of our GSDs love the Benebones. I don't remember any toy keeping their interest like these do. They hold up well. Little pieces get chewed off (1/8th of an inch or smaller, so if they're swallowed, I do believe the pieces would just pass on through with no issue, as the manufacturer claims) - but never has a large piece gotten chewed off. Both dogs love the flavor as well as the shape, which is easy to hold onto with their paws.

It is almost indestructible.. my puppy has been at it for months. However she has chipped off the edges and those have become sharp. Need to be careful handling it after that
