This is such a great kit. I LOVE the packaging and the layout on the instructions. It came with pretty much everything you need to make hot sauce. I might add some fresh veggies to this to try some alternative recipes. But not until I have tried all of theirs out first. Birds eye chili has me drooling. What a great concept and gift idea. I will be sending these out to friends for sure. Recommend 5/5 stars!!

Freaking fantastic. If you want to make your own hot sauce then this kit is all you need. It has everything in one box necessary to make a wide range of sauces. It is so easy to do so too. I've wanted to make my own hot sauce for a long time now. My birthday came and the thoughtful wife purchased this kit for me. Not fair how thoughtful she is. This kit makes it very easy to make several different flavors and heat levels of sauces. It is so much fun to add different ingredients to get certain tastes from your sauce. I've made serveral bottles and loved every one. It does not take long either. For the amount of fun you get and the fact that this kit has everything needed, this is well worth the money. It's fun to take a bottle to your friends bbq and tell them you made it. It's fun to experiment with different ingredients for different flavors and heat. With this kit you can adjust your sauce in the pot before you have a finished product to make sure it's delicious. Could not be any easier. Truly very easy...however some of the peppers provided are very hot and you need gloves to handle them. So be careful when handling the peppers...you can get the dust on your finger and itch an eye, that would make for a long night. If you want a great gift or want to make your own hot sauce then this kit is perfect. There are even bottle stickers to label your sauce which if you are immature like me then it's an added bonus of fun. I could not be happier with this kit.

Got this for my boyfriend but it ended up in the back of our cupboard unused

I bought this as a gift for my dad who is impossible to shop for, but loves to cook...he loved it! The kit looks very professional. The bottles are glass and the spices and peppers are well labeled. As for the instructions included in the kit, the instructions include a guide to creating the "base" and provide several spice combinations you can try. However, they do not tell you specific amounts of each spice to add, only how much they recommend you add each time until it reaches the heat level you're looking for. If you are someone who likes very detailed recipes I would still recommend this kit and then searching on google (etc.) for specific recipes to try. Bottom line...this kit is great for anyone who likes heat and loves to cook and the company provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend this product!

Got this as a Christmas gift for my nephew who is obsessed with hot sauces. He made them all, they were a hit! But be careful when you're boiling some of the sauces with the chilis, because the very strong chilis made our eyes water as the water boiled.

This was such a cool gift to give. My boyfriend loves making his own stuff and he also loves hot sauce, so it was perfect. The only downside is that the sauces made only last for 2-6 weeks due to not being fermented- which is fine, because the product does not say it includes pepper fermentation kits or anything. It was a really fun and exciting intro to the hot sauce world!

Me and my son had great time making hot sauce. He loves making hot sauce and different sauces. And this kit we could make hot sauce three or four different times. At least we just have to add some more vinegar.

The order has quality prdocut but the instructions are terrible. Kit contains 3 types of peppers, and about six spice packets. There really are no recipes on making your sauces, only general instructions. I tried combining a couple of peppers using the approximate amounts of water and vinegar/sugar. It turned out pretty good, but not as hot as I had hoped. The flavor and consistancy of the sauce is good, especially if you let it age the two weeks. I started using early and still liked the sauce. I was hoping for better instructions and some real recipes. I ordered a pepper sauce recipe book from Amazon, still waiting to receive it, probably get it today. I want to try the real recipes for sauces there. The bottles funnel and other equipment in the kit were quite nice.
