Inkbird humidity/dehumidifier controller
Update: this humidity controller ( paired with Zoo Med Reptile Fogger Terrarium Humidifier) is the best thing I bought ! Still works great! Most part I keep it at 50.0% but changed when it kicks on (3.0%). When Angus started sporting his zombie eyes and his whole body is dull. I turned the controller up to 55.0% for a few days, then kick it up to 60.0% and left it there. I also have on the top of his tank cover half of the top. Well he finally shed! And it’s not in several pieces. But only his body and head. But they are solid piece! Trust me when I say I Don’t know everything, I’m still learning! But to me I’m headed in the right direction!! So far I’m loving it I haven’t set the settings to what I actually want, yet! But what it looks like the default settings is 50% and if it goes 5% below or above, it will kick on and off accordingly. I’m using this Device for a ball python tank. And only have a humidifier hooked up to it. Only once the dehumidifier side did kick on, even though I don’t have a dehumidifier. I have not heard no alarm go off. Just make sure you have water in your humidifier! As of now, yes I’m going to be buying another one of these for my other snake. Anything changes, I will update.

Rapid response to humidity changes.
With an oversized fogger in a small room for growing mushrooms, this is incredibly quick to respond and very accurately controls humidity to mushroom fruiting levels despite the fogger being way bigger than needed. Setting hysteresis to 2% works perfectly, turning on when humidity drops 2%, and off fast enough to prevent a condensing atmosphere even when set as high as 90%. I'm using it now in a 120 square foot area with an eight puck fogger. Set at 90%, humidity rises to 98% a few minutes after the fogger shuts off and all the fog evaporates. Set at 85% it goes up to 88 or 90% a couple minutes after the fogger turns off. My fogger is probably four times too big for this space, having been bought with future expansion in mind, but the Rainbird still responds fast enough to make things work OK as long as I don't try to hold humidity at 95% in a grow room torture test. Then I get a condensing atmosphere when I do that.

It work fine
Bought this product to control an evaporative cooler so it would function as a humidifier in a large room. We are not using the dehumidifier function, but it should work for that also. Programing is easy enough with the instructions, but is NOT intuitive -- don't lose the instructions. It would be better if they printed the instructions ON the device itself with a decal. It would also be improved if they labeled the outlets. One turns on at below setpoint, the other turns off if below setpoint (dehumdifier function). It has a delay start for the dehumidifier outlet, which is a good touch. It has adjustable deadband and set point. It says it can be calibrated, but we didn't need to. The sensor is permanently attached by a modestly long cable; it would be better if it was extendable or if the cable was longer to allow better positioning of the sensor. (I think its about 6 feet long). As a pre-assembled, ready to use humidistat, it's a fair value.

Customer Service is Sublime
I received my Inkbird Humidity Controller and when I plugged it in the product was short circuting. Unable to return it due to it being outside of Amazon's return policy I was directed to contact the manufacturer directly. The customer service is absolutely amazing. After a few short emails, Inkbird simply asked I send proof of purchase and a video of what the product was doing. Seeing as the issue was with the product and not with anything on my end they immediately offered a new product and offered to send it to me free of charge. I've literally never had a better experience with a company. 10/10 for actually being willing to work with me and doing so quickly and efficiently.

Not as good as the old version, relay gets stuck
I bought this a while back as a backup for a dehumidifier but never ended up using it. Recently started growing mushrooms and the read out is almost dead on. Now for the bad and unforgivable. 3 times now this units relay has gotten stuck and kept the humidification system running even though the unit show its no longer in humidifier mode. Other reviews have stated the same thing. It's running a humidifier that draw 3 amps which is well within specs. Came home to a grow tent that had standing water, water on the ceiling/walls, and a quite bit of water on thankfully a concrete floor. I took that unit out out of service today and will only use it to show humidity levels.

Works Great! A bit difficult to setup, but works perfect after you do
Pros: * Works perfect- turns on humidifier when too low(which you can set), turns off when reaches the set humidity Cons: * A bit time consuming to setup, manual a bit hard to follow, but you'll eventually get it setup (and once it is, you're good) * The little humidity sensor on the wire is NOT waterproof! Mine accidentally fell in some water when I was dumping it out, and it errored out for several days. I ended up having to break the plastic to get to the chip inside, let it dry out, spun it around like crazy, and now it's not beeping loudly all the time (with an error message). I'm not sure whether it's getting the right humidity level anymore, and need to find a replacement chip/ sensor (but the overall device did give the loud warning that the sensor wasn't giving the right info).
