It's the perfect size for listening to music on the patio. The sound quality is good and it plays CD's. It has become increasingly difficult to play our Christmas music during the holidays - everything is on streaming services.

This is my second Lonpoo CD player. It’s used constantly. Easy to operate and is my favorite brand

I bought it to play USB old time radio programs. I load the USB from my computer and my wife likes to listen to them. When you shut the player off and turn it back on again, it starts off on the USB where it left off. Other players, that I have had, started the USB from the beginning.

0 stars for the player quality of the 1st CD player I received. The CD player did not function. 3 stars for the Replacement CD player... it works. (3 stars for suspected life span quality of the player, considering the failure of the original unit) 5 stars for Amazon! After finding that the 1st CD player would not function, I contacted customer support and they sent a replacement that I received in 3 days, no charge, no shipping fee. Replacement player works. Sound quality is so-so, ok. CD Track display shows time played but does not show the track #. So, you have to press the forward or reverse button for a track number to display; then press the button again to go back to the track you were playing when you wanted to know what track number it was. 5 STARS FOR AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I love the fact that it has a all repeat button for the whole cd.

Hands down, the most un-user friendly CD player I've ever encountered. For some unknown reason, there's a whole fusillade of buttons on different sides of the player. There's one to turn volume up, then somewhere on the other side, for some incomprehensible rationale, there's another button to turn the volume down. Yes, why would we want one end of the same button for one function, then the other end for the opposite function? Much too simple and ordinary. HELLO LONPOO, SIMPLE IS GOOD! So this " two buttons where one is needed" theme is repeated all over the front of this player. There is a stop button, but good luck finding it! It's right next to Waldo!. The sound is terrible if you want to listen without headphones. It's like you're playing old, scratchy LP's rather than laser discs. The sound is actually good if you listen with headphones. That, of course, means you've somehow figured out the hieroglyphics of the plethora of buttons, which require an advanced degree in mechanical engineering and chaos theory. Also, the lid is so stiff that you won't require working out with dumbells anymore. Just try to life the lid to insert a CD. A workout for the ages! This CD player is a high maintenance mess. Uff Da.

I have only just received this but so far I am very impressed. It is so light to carry (I agree with one review that the handle is a bit flimsy). I asked before purchase if it Shuffled CDs as it mentioned it in the listing. IT SHUFFLES! 🥳 I love it! I have 2 little niggles, though, both really minor and 1 my fault : the track number of the CD doesn’t show anywhere, just the play timer. You can only find out the track you are listening to by referring to the disc cover : it isn’t made clear enough that you have to remove a little piece of yellow card from the disc bed before playing a CD. I thought I was going to have to return the boombox as faulty as it wouldn’t play my discs. My fault, of course as I didn’t read the instructions. It’s obviously an age thing! Apart from that, I love this great little boombox. It does the job of playing my CDs - sound quality good, volume more than required, value brilliant. I heartily recommend this - so far.
