High-quality shut-off T adapter for Neo Bidets
This part was a perfect fit for my Neo Bidet and resolved a leaking issue I had after several years of using the original plastic part that came with the unit. It was relatively easy to install and has substantial weight, consistent with a high-quality part. Having a shut-off valve also improves the functionality of the connection.

Perfect Fit and Finish for Luxe Bidet Users
Perfect Fit and Finish for Luxe Bidet Users This shut-off valve T-adapter turned out to be exactly what I needed to complete my Luxe bidet setup. The nickel finish matches the rest of the hardware in the bathroom, and the teardrop lever makes it easy to control the water flow—smooth action, no sticking or wobble. Installation was straightforward, even for someone like me who isn’t especially handy; the fit to the existing Luxe Neo series bidet attachment was precise and leak-free on the first try. I appreciate that it feels solid and well-machined—no flimsy parts, and the lever has a reassuring firmness when turning it on and off. One thing to keep in mind: it’s designed specifically for Luxe Neo series attachments, so it may not be compatible with every bidet model out there. If you’re not using a Neo series, double-check before ordering. Bottom line: A well-built, easy-to-install accessory that adds reliability and convenience to a Luxe bidet system.

Perfect Addition for My Bidet – Easy Installation and Great Functionality!
I recently purchased the Luxe Bidet Metal T-adapter with Shut-off Valve to go along with my bidet, and I am so impressed! The installation was incredibly simple. It fit perfectly with no leaks or issues, and I was up and running in no time. The metal construction feels durable and high-quality, which gives me confidence that it will last for a long time. The shut-off valve is a fantastic feature. It allows me to easily control the water flow to the bidet, which is great for maintenance or if I ever need to turn off the water for any reason. The valve operates smoothly and is easy to adjust. Overall, this T-adapter works exactly as it should, is built to last, and is a must-have for anyone with a bidet. I highly recommend it!

Nice but wouldn't connect
This is a very nice adapter but it didn’t fit on my toilet connection. I got it as an upgrade to the standard connector that came with a Luxe Bidet. I tried it on two different toilets & the threads didn’t match up right. I have Fluidmaster toilet parts with standard 7/8” connection and even though it says it’s compatible it wouldn’t thread right. I went ahead & just used the connector that came with the bidet & it works fine so I returned this one. I was concerned about our high water pressure being too much but the bidet works fine as long as I don’t turn the pressure up very high. If I want to reduce the water pressure at some point I will just turn the water supply knob to the toilet down a little bit to reduce it. So, if you’re wanting this for a bidet connection I would recommend trying the connector that comes with your bidet first & then if you still think you need a regulator there are other brands with 7/8” connections that work. I had also purchased another adapter with water regulator that did fit on one of my toilets with no problem at all. It works but actually I don’t feel it’s necessary. Try the part that came with the bidet first. PROS: Nicely made; attractive; easy adjust knob. I’m sure it works fine if you can attach it. CONS: This wouldn’t thread on my 7/8” toilet connection. T Also, the nut where you screw it on to the toilet is chrome & is slick if your hands are damp & therefore hard to grasp, turn & tighten.

Without it, you might just shoot your butt off!
This is a review of "The Luxe Metal T-adapter with Shut off Valve, 3-way Tee Connector, Chrome Finish, for Luxe Neo Bidets." I installed this item with a new Luxe Neo 180 Bidet a little over a month ago. The installation was pretty simple, even in my very cramped bathroom. I only had one hiccup with this: I didn't tighten the bottom connection (coming from the water source) very well, and it leaked. Stupid me, I thought the leak was at the top connection (the inlet to the toilet tank). I'm lucky I didn't over tighten that one. When I finally figured it out and tightened the bottom one some more, then the leak stopped. The Neo 180 is a cold-water only bidet, so there was only the one connector to the bidet from the T-adapter with Shut-off Valve. I should mention that this is my first experience with any bidet, and I am oh so glad that I got this adapter! I've got the water source opened up good, and this adapter allows me to vary the pressure into - and more importantly - out of the bidet. It's a good thing I read the reviews on the Luxe Neo bidets, especially the ones that recommend you get this adapter! The idea of having a clean posterior after elimination really appealed to me, and that is why I got the bidet in the first place. But after reading the reviews, I imagined a Ralphie-type character (you know, the main kid from the movie "A Christmas Story") wanting a new bidet for Christmas. But when he tells people what he wants, they, of course, aren't aware of this T-adapter with Shut-off Valve, and so they are forever telling him, "A new Luxe 180 Bidet? You'll shoot your butt off kid!" Well, if you don't get this item, you really won't shoot your butt off, but it may feel like it! The plastic T-adapter that comes with the bidet does not have a valve to vary the pressure to the bidet, and you will probably want to turn down the pressure from your water source, and be very slow on the bidet switch. But this, of course, will affect how quickly your tank fills as well. I read another review where the user claims that this item also slows down the fill rate on their tank. Well I didn't time what my tank fill time was before the install, so I don't have any empirical evidence to compare. But my tank appears to fill up just as fast as it did before. So this is not a problem for me. I've got my water source valve pretty much wide open. Also, as I'm using the bidet, I've noticed that our water pressure to the house often varies anyway. So it's nice to be able to tweak this metal T-adapter "on the fly," so to speak. It's easy to reach without having to get up off the seat. This is very convenient for me due to the variable water supply pressure. If your water pressure is very constant, then you probably won't have to tweak the T-adapter hardly at all once you've got it set for your own comfort and cleanliness level. It will take some experimentation, but you can adjust the metal T-adapter as the bidet is being used. Pretty easy to set how you want it. Bottom Line: If you're going to install a Luxe Neo Bidet, then, in my opinion, this item is not optional. Seriously, it works just as advertised and saved a lot of grief with playing with the water source pressure. I gave it 5 stars because it saved me from shooting my butt off, and that is more than I can say for pretty much everything else I've bought on Amazon! -Fred

I highly recommend this option for peace of mind
I installed the Luxe Neo 120 bidet of my elongated American Standard low flush toilet. The toilet itself is amazing but the seat that came with it is an absolute piece of cheap lightweight plastic junk. I thought for certain I would need a new seat. I must have lucked out because the Neo 120 installed perfectly with that seat and without the optional rubber seat-bumpers that Luxe sells. The installation was a total breeze. I also purchased this “Luxe Metal T-adapter with Shut-off Valve” even though some reviews weren’t so favorable. It shuts supply water off ONLY feeding the bidet and NOT the toilet. This is a very solid and heavy shut-off device, does not feel cheap in any way. This very high quality shutoff gives added security of knowing the supply water into the bidet can be shut off quickly & easily when not in use. I live alone and do not want to come home to a flood. (Many times though I’ve forgotten to shut it off for a day or two and feel fully confident in the high quality of the bidet itself.) I highly recommend this option for peace of mind. It's operation is "smooth as butter" and I love the simplicity of it. It is a 1/4 turn valve from fully open to fully closed. The shut off lever is small and inconspicuous. Some reviewers who feel the water pressure/force of the bidet is to harsh have said you can lower it by adjusting the lever on this valve. Working very slow the installation (bidet and valve) from start to finish took me about 25 minutes. No leaks anywhere.

Your water supply line may or may not thread onto this
I bought this to use with my luxe bidet neo 185 and I read all the reviews before and it seemed like there were a good amount of people having an issue where the water supply line doesn't thread onto this adapter right but I figured I would give it a shot anyways......well I have the same issue. I tried forever to get my water supply line threaded onto this and it will thread on just a tiny bit and will stop and of course leak all over because it's not threaded all the way on like it should. So I thought it was probably just my water supply line not compatible somehow with this adapter. So in the box with my luxe bidet neo 185 they give you another 12" braided mesh water supply line in case you need it and I tried to connect that to this adapter and same issue, it will thread on the first few threads then stop. So even the companies own water supply line will not thread onto their own T-adapter. I took this T-adapter to Home Depot and went to their toilet plumbing section and tried threading on multiple different water supply lines to see if any would fit and some actually threaded all the way on like it's suppose to but most didn't. The specs of the ones that actually fit are the same as the ones that didn't, so the threads on this T-adapter are picky which is why the reviews are either bad or great for this T-adapter. I ended up using the plastic T-adapter that came in the box with my luxe bidet neo 185 and it threaded on perfectly fine with my water supply line hose and there have been no leaks or anything. So I'm returning this metal T-adapter to Amazon, I wish I could have used it! (EDIT) 4/27/2015 I wanted to update this review with what I did, I wanted to get a working metal T-Adapter so I bought the one linked below and it works awesome, I just installed it and everything threaded on perfectly and no leaks or anything. It has an on/off lever just like this one so you can completely shut off the cold water supply going to your luxe bidet. So if you're looking for metal t-adapter avoid this luxe t-adapter and go with the "Aquaus Toilet Adapter/T-Adapter" here on amazon, $5 more but totally worth it. Good build quality, but seems to somewhat affect the water flow.
While it does feel like it's high quality, and I think it may work great for some, I do not care for the way this T-adapter works. It seems to somewhat affect the water flow (and looking inside of it, it's easy to see why). I do not mean that I'm trying to fill the toilet tank and run the bidet at the same time, but that simply using this adapter at all, especially when it's allowing water flow to the bidet, seems to only allow a fairly small volume of water to pass through to the toilet. I was not able to measure this, and it might not be a very significant amount, but it felt like it was taking longer to fill all the time, and even longer still when I had the valve open (even with the bidet not running). I cross-threaded the plastic connector piece on my fill valve trying to screw this on initially, causing me to have to replace the whole fill valve to fix the threads. This is most likely my fault, however, it happened with extremely little effort as the threads are somewhat sharp, so be cautious everything is lined up properly. I ended up finding another brand of T adapter on Amazon here. I prefer it because it allows the water to pass straight through to the toilet without impeding it, which also makes it easier to always leave it set to the right pressure for the bidet and not feel like it's cutting any water off to the toilet tank needlessly. I'm sure this is a fine product for some, and I didn't use it for long enough to know how well it holds up over time, but it simply didn't meet my expectations.
