Lixit 30-0606 Blue Cloud Dust, 13-Ounce Jar

THIS ISNT BLUE CLOUD. It is a knock off. Their formula was OK for a while but I just bought a batch and my chins hair is falling out and she is very itchy!!

I am beyond upset that I have been lied to by this company and it took me 6 months and rereading the reviews to figure that out. This is not true Blue Cloud. The jars I have been receiving are Blue Beauty dust, which is not at all good for your chins respitory!!! I have been wondering if the severe sparkle in the dust would be a health hazard, and it is. My poor Leelu has been sneezing up a storm after her baths and sounds super wheezy. DO NOT USE THIS FOR YOUR ANIMALS!!!

Good value for the size jar. I researched a bit online before settling on this item based on review rating and price.It is the first and only dust product I have purchase, so i can't compare it to other brands.What I can observe from my 1-2 year old chinchilla using it is that, as soon as I put him in a large enclosed plastic storage container with a lid top (to minimize dusty mess to the immediate area), he starts doing his cleaning routine. But this only lasted a few short minutes, not the 15 -30 minutes that I have read about online by other chinchilla owners. Anyway, the first time I used it, I noticed that it had sparkles in the dust, which does not affect the chinchilla, but trying to sweep the floor where the dust settles outside the container after the dust bath session was not very effective. Definitely had to resort to wet paper towel to get the clean up job done right on wood laminate surface.After use, the dust will get everywhere the chinchilla goes in the cage too.

This dust is a great price for the size! There is no odor to it, and it works really well with keeping my chinchilla well dusted!Disclaimer: [...] I take honesty seriously when writing a review. This is NOT BLUE CLOUD dust. This is something called blue beauty and is VERY different than the Blue Cloud. I cannot buy this cheap crap or my chinchilla starts pulling her fur and gets very itchy. I will be returning it. This is FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!

This dust was very grainy compared to other brands. It is not the finest or smoothest. This dust does not really stick well to my chinchilla, however it does work to keep him soft or clean. The value for the money is great compared to other brands, but the Kaytee dust is superior in it's texture and usability. Overall I reccomend this if you really need dust or if you really want to try it for the value.

we are very happy with purchase...our chinchillas use every few days...the size is great. comes with scoop...love the twist cover to keep tight

Two pack seems to be a good value, for dust, hah! My chins love it. This stuff does get everywhere but, I guess that is just part of the game. I think it keeps them happy. Blue Cloud is as good or better than other name brand chin dust.

Very fine powder, seems to go into my chinchilla's coats easily.The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because I think it makes the fur feel a little strange after the guys have had their baths. It seems almost waxy to the touch rather than smooth and soft as it usually is. The feeling does wear off after a few hours & shakes from the little ones so it doesn't seem to have a lasting effect.

Good quality bathing dust, not sand. Leaves coat soft and absorbs oil well.

My chins love it!It keeps their fur nice and clean.I mix this dust together with White Mill dust to make it last longer.
