Are these tile sealed? Can they be stained?

They are glazed tiles. No sealer needed!

How do you clean these?

I am very sorry but I cannot help you with that question about cleaning the terracotta clay tiles. They had a finish on them and I had ordered them for our propane oven in the RV. In that case I had needed unpainted. I would assume since there was a finish youn could wipe them with a damp cloth.
