Yes, it does help type 2 diabetes.
I'm on the anti-inflammatory diet. I take obscene numbers of supplements so it it very hard to pinpoint the impact of any one supplement.I'm a type 2 diabetic. It's very mild, I don't need any medication to control the glucose readings. However, before I started any supplements, it was an effort to keep the glucose readings down below 120 in the morning (90 would be better - much better). In order to control the glucose I takeChromium Picolinate 1000 mcg in the morningNatrogix Ceylon Cinnamon Capsules - 1200 mg Per Serving - I take 2 servings a day at breakfast and dinnerNatureWise ORGANIC Curcumin Turmeric 1650mg,180 caps with 95% Curcuminoids - 2 servings a day, at breakfast and dinner.Because I started the Turmeric and Cinnamon first, it's a little harder to tease out the effect of the Chromium. Both the cinnamon and turmeric are fast acting.I've taken Chromium Picolinate before when I was pre-diabetic (and not taking other supplements that mask it's effects). It seems to be a long acting supplement that lowers insulin resistance. Which explains my glucose readings over the last month. When I first started, if I overate, even with all the supplements going - my glucose readings would be 110-130. Lower, than I expected but those are unhealthy numbers. It's been slowly dropping until last night's piggy-fest (all you can eat buffet) where I ate way too many tacos. And I ate a dark chocolate at midnight. Yet, this morning the blood glucose was 90.I heartily recommend the chromium picolinate. It's a nutrient that is needed to stop your body from building insulin resistance in the first place. If you want more supplements to help control glucose - try the cinnamon first (it's very powerful), the turmeric does help lower glucose but it's not as strong as cinnamon. I like the turmeric because it's a painkiller as well (arthritis).I'm also on the anti-inflammatory diet - mostly I add lots of garlic, hot peppers, black pepper, ginger, green tea, dark chocolate, vitamin C, avocados, resveratrol, CoQ to my diet. I know it's having an effect, possibly on the glucose levels but it's hard to point to anything. One sure thing, I have lost my cravings for food. Now I get hungry and I'm free to make good/bad choices. No more ridiculous drives to eat potato chips unstoppably.Update, I read an article on hot peppers. The active anti-inflammatory ingredient is capsaicin (also, the very hot ingredient). So if it's hot, it's anti-inflammatory. Use it dried or whatever. The article also stated hot peppers "regulates the appetite". Which I interpret as, eat hot peppers to ditch the cravings. I started by adding 3 hot peppers per serving (just once a day - note, I eat the peppers) and 3 days later, I noticed I'd lost my food cravings. All of them. No potato chips, ice cream, cookies, chocolate or wine desired. It's a relief, but I kinda miss that hit of satisfaction when you sink your teeth into that first bite.

Good Quality at a Good Price!
I recently ordered Piping Rock's CoQ10 and was very pleased with their product. So when I ran low on my Chromium Picolinate, I decided to order the Piping Rock brand from Amazon instead of buying the Spring Valley brand at Walmart! The quality seems high and I'm saving a little money as well! What's not to like?

I prefer the extended release capsules but for people who have trouble swallowing those these tablets are great. Very small and
๐luv these..... with this and biotin my A1C went from 9.2 to 6.8 in 3 mo. (On days you consume a lot of carbs I took and extra 1 or 2). I prefer the extended release capsules but for people who have trouble swallowing those these tablets are great. Very small and easy to take.
