Schultz African Violet Plus Plant Food 8-14-9, 4 fl oz. 1061

I know this Schultz African violet plus plant food is mainly for African violets or indoor plants but I use it on so many of my outdoor potted plants including my beautiful big coleus. It works wonders on my indoor African violets that I have setting in my utility room window and keeps them constantly blooming. I just felt I had to show you a picture of the coleus because prior to using this product, it was a lot smaller. I use it every time I water which is once a week for the indoor plants and more often for the coleus outside. The price is right, a lot less than I found it at one of the big box stores. It's a great product, try it and watch your plants thrive.

Works well, no foul smell and while I have tried others, I have always returned to this plant food.

I put only a few drops of this per gallon per week. Keeps my violets blooming for months. It's such a nice gentle fertilizer that I actually use it for all my indoor plants, several dozen species including orchids, and they all do well with it. I have had the same bottle for almost 2 years and am nowhere close to running out.

If I could keep my poor African Violets alive where I live now, I have no issue with the plant food. The plant food does not unalive the plant if you have the right conditions for the Violets.

I received an African violet plant from my mother’s memorial service that I desperately tried to keep alive. I had almost given up and tried everything to get it to bloom again with not much success. Thought I would give this a try after reading all the positive reviews. Boy am I glad I did! A few days after my first application I had buds! TONS of them! And when they finally bloomed the flowers were HUGE and gorgeous!! Even the leaves looked so green and healthy. It was so easy to use too. When I water my plant (usually once a week), I just place the pot in a shallow pan of water (about 1/2 inch of water) and add a few drops of the plant food and let the pot soak for an hour or two. That’s it! It’s so simple that it made me go buy another sad-looking African violet marked on clearance at a local nursery and bring it back to life.

This product has helped with my African violets. The directions were easy to follow and the product lasts a very long time. My Violets are doing very well.

Excellent plant food for violets & other blooming indoor plants. (Not so effective for outdoor bloomers in my experience).

This is the proper fertilizer for violets and they do extremely well with it. It is also easy to apply.
