Ever since she was Winnie Cooper on the Wonder Years series, I have enjoyed the talents of Danica McKellar. I have a collection of her movies, but this is my very favorite. I highly recommend this movie - it’s not only a romance, but a very family-oriented movie as well, with a sweet, loveable dog at the heart of the story.

This movie is such a sweet and enjoyable journey. It has amazingly beautiful scenery. A very cute dog. A lovely family. This is the story of a Nursery owner and a Soldier. Brought together by a big gorgeous Dog that she had fostered while he was overseas. This is also a journey for both of them after a failed relationship each. A time to rediscover oneself and find true joy in being accepted for just who you are. It has a few challenges most will identify with and a very satisfying ending. I am a fan of all of the cast and they did a really good job of taking a story and bringing it to life. I hope you enjoy. Be blessed!!

I absolutely enjoyed watching Danica Mckellar in "Love and Sunshine". I loved how completely opposite her portrayal was compared to her role in "Very, Very, Valentine" which I did not truly enjoy. She was more confident of herself and take charge when she recognized what she wanted. I found Bess Armstrong played her part beautifully but then again she's an amazing actress. I remember watching her acting in my younger days and she still hasn't lost her magic. The sister/bestie is the kind of person we all need in our lives. She knew how to dish a little bit of sassiness/cheekiness to her self-absorbed ex brother-in-law but not cross boundaries. Which is more than I can say for the lead male character's brother. He was too much in his brother's business. He was practically dictating to the main male actor to reconnect with his prior fiancé for business reasons. Minus that one annoying habit of the younger brother I thought the film was beautifully crafted from the story to the cast. Sunshine (the leading dog actor/actress) was an adorable bonus to the movie. I will most definitely watch it again in the near future.

I was surprised by it, I love dog movies anyway, but this had substance to the movie...I will be kind and not comment on the exboyfriend, knew one like him! But it was well done and one of my favorites now...

I love any film that Danica is in. She is so natural in her roles. I have bought a few of her films. I have noticed in all the movies I have seen recently that the leading men all have either a beard or 5-oclock shadow facial hair. Why!!! The story is quite simple and centres around the dog-Sunshine who is really cute. Why do the dogs or animals have to have their names changed in the movies ? I did see one movie where the dog kept his real name.
