Five Crowns Mini Round Card Game

I purchased this as a fun time-passer to carry in my purse. The game is easy and fun, and very portable. The cards are most easily shuffled by putting them face down and mixing them around. The tin the cards come in is small, and fits the cards well, but easy to inadvertently open. I ended up putting the cards (tin and all) in a small ziplock bag.

Cute gift but I didn't realize until I received it that's it's not a full deck. But perfect for two or three people playing.

Really cute travel version of the five crowns game. Definitely compact in size. It works fine except the cards are too compact to shuffle traditional style. You have to hand shuffle the deck.

We are already hooked on the game Five Crowns and had the advantage of not needing to learn how to play after this purchase. This game is pretty much the same as the original, full size. The directions say to play up to seven to be “faster”, but we’ve been able to play up to kings (like normal) with just 2 players. The cards themselves are both smaller in size and in quantity. The size and the fact the cards are round does make it a little harder to shuffle, but there are ways around traditional shuffling to get the cards mixed up well. The positive about this deck is that it is small and light enough to throw into our bag for our 2 week Europe trip where space is very limited. This has been our main source of entertainment on a train from Paris to London and we are really happy we made this purchase! The con would be the shuffling and less cards for playing to kings with more than 2 people but, again, the intention with this deck is to play to seven. I anticipate keeping this deck in my purse to play with my kids when they get bored waiting at a restaurant or appointment. I have not had any issues with the storage tin itself. I would say this is definitely a supplement to the real thing, but shouldn’t replace it.

Cute, but small and pricey for what you get. If you're purchasing for journaling needs, ok. If you are purchasing for game use small and flimsy. Either use pricey.

I love this game but I kept receiving the wrong item (twice) until finally I just went to Walmart and bought the deck from there. I asked for a refund since I could not get the actual item I had ordered.

This is a really cute travel set of cards. The case is about the size of the palm of your hand so expect the cards to be small, but it’s great for traveling, and it will fit in a purse very easily.
