Works well and I use this often for measuring things around the pad.

A durable tape measure which is small enough to fit in small pockets or in a bin somewhere. Used it to measure the head circumference for helmets for my girlfriend and I for ebike riding and the measurements are dead on which is very important for helmets.Only complaint is the mechanism inside seems to have worn out quickly and after about 20 uses it sometimes will fail to wind up all of the way the first time or it will twist the rope and require extending it again.

I carry this in my chest pack to measure stride lengths of footprints and other general things. Light wteight and seems to be sturdy enough for occasional use.
