Great Youth Target for Archery Practice
This 16-inch archery target is a good size for young beginners and works well with bows up to the listed 40-pound draw weight. The colorful design makes the aiming points easy to see, and the layered construction allows arrows to be removed without too much effort. It is lightweight and convenient to move for backyard practice. A solid choice for supervised youth archery training.

Great for youth archery.
This is a really nice target for youth archery. My granddaughter is just getting into the sport and she really likes this target. Her draw is set at 24 pounds right now and the arrow penetration is sufficient, but not too deep in the target. She likes it.

Good archery target when used under proper conditions
I am an adult male (no matter what my wife says) and I bought this target for dense urban backyard use while my archery range is shut down. I shoot 45-50# traditional hunting bows (26.5 in. draw) and use 11/32" wooden arrows w/ 100 gr. field points (525-540 gr. weight). My backyard distances max out at 15 yds. This target is advertised as a "youth" target w/ a 40# max. The target that arrived appeared well constructed of stacked foam sheets that separate as the arrow passes through them leaving minimal target damage. I took the excellent (!!) advice of another reviewer and immediately wrapped the 8" outside depth of the target with duct tape to prevent arrow damage from sloppy edge shots. I also fronted the target with 2 one-half inch layers of (trimmed) EVA foam floor matting (see https://www.amazon.com/sk=gym+mat+flooring&crid=2CNW8BW2O0QWW& sprefix=gym+mat%2Caps%2C227&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_7) and a cardboard mounted target face. I used 4 metal target pins to hold this all together. Sounds a bit complicated, but the whole job too about 45 minutes and you really don't need the extra EVA matting, it just adds life to the target. After I finished these modifications, the target worked beautifully. With a 50# Damon Howatt Mamba (same arrows above) I get about 5-51/2" inches of penetration @ 15 yds. I've put at least 200 arrows into this target and I haven't seen any signs of a pass-through. HOWEVER, if you're thinking about hitting this target with arrows from a traditional or compound bow that has a speed greater than 180-190 fps, you're probably going to see some pass-throughs, particularly as the target ages. So those are the limits I've found for adult backyard use. If you stay within these parameters, the target has a number of important postive points: (a) relatively cheap, (b) really light weight and easy to move around; (c) quiet arrow strikes keep the peace w/ the neighbors (some bag targets really pop when you hit them); (d) layered foam construction that minimizes the damage to the target from arrow strikes (extended life over solid body targets). If you cannot stay within the above parameters, you probably want to think about buying a heavier bag target like a Morrell Yellow Jacket Supreme. Good shooting!

Reject target.
I like the block target, it is long lasting and stops arrows very well. I decided to buy this youth version. Very disappointed that the target spots were so poorly painted and the layers are ragged. I feel like they took advantage of me because I wasnโt able to pick from a selection of targets. Quality control fail.

Great target
Rated for up to 40lb draw bows and works amazing with my 40lb bow. Takes little damage from arrows, holds the arrows tight, and the colors are easy to see even in low light conditions. 10/10

***Amazing Target for Intermediate Bows***
We have multiple brands/types of archery targets and this is easily my favorite. I haven't tried turning up the draw weight on my compound to its max on this particular target, but it works perfectly for my wife's bow set at ~40lbs. We have shot this thing hundreds of times with my son and wife's bows as well as hundreds of times with big-bore blowdarts. I can't see any kind of wear-and-tear from it even after months of constant use. Key points to take away from product: - Works well for youth and intermediate draw weights - "Wounds" seal up immediately and leave virtually no trace of previous impact points - *Extremely* easy to remove arrows from target - Compact and comes with handle for ease of moving and storage (could easily fit under a bed, for example)

Great even for my 70lb longbow!
I've been using this for a few months now with a 70lb wood longbow and 2 blade broadheads. I love it! don't let the "youth" description fool ya, It handles my bow no problem, No over penetration and easy to get the arrows out. Love it and highly recommend it for its price point!
