Bought for my husband who has taken up drawing again now he has retired

Exactly as listed, these items are as required; shame they took a while to arrive. For 3 bits of hard plastic and a lanyard, not the cheapest but will hopefully last

This is a handy bit of kit and comes complete with a LAN yard so whilst you are out and about do you have easy access to your colour wheel, viewfinder and greyscale. The greyscale is really useful When trying to identify the different tone values.

Just received this today and I can see it will help me in choosing colours and values in both art work and when choosing different fabrics for sewing. The colour wheel information is particularly useful as I find it difficult to remember the different terminologies and it's all there on one small card. The grayscale will also be useful but I may have to punch out the plastic holes in it as they distort the colour due to the slight cloudiness of the plastic. The view finder I dare say will come in handy at some point, and having the cards on a lanyard means they will always be together and at hand. My only gripe is that I found it so difficult trying to get the cards on the plastic ring that I sprained it, and have now had to wrap black tape around it to hold it together.

How useful this tool will be for you depends on your artistic skills and goals, but the quality is undoubtedly good.

Neat, as expected from description

Really wanted to like this and the other cards and neck piece are great. The value scale is pretty useless though since it has both a blue tint and is shifted down in values due to the laminate or poor printing. Could be 5 star if they fix that card

Comes in handy

I've taken the viewfinder etc off the lanyard and added my own laminated colour mix examples for quick reference to the clip-ring which works well for me.

Read other reviews and some made points that were true... the shine on the gray scale card does interfere and the color wheel is very elementary.... (that's why I took off a point for "easy to use") You just have to keep those things in mind and mentally compensate for that. (Haven't tried this but maybe you can hole punch the grayscale card to help with that?) I especially like the grid viewer for proportions and the lanyard measuring tape is genius! So I found it a good value and very practical for only $11. I wouldn't have liked it as much for the previous price at $20 though.

Should last forever, great you can wear it around your neck or have separate. Compact and effective. Seemed a little high priced.
