Great item notice picture details important
It does exactly what it's supposed to. My only grip is with the mounting and hardware. Buyer should notice that this one (25A) does not come with heat sink for SSR or the screws for mounting it. The piece that holds the PID in place isn't the best but it still works well enough. You have to be very precise in cutting the square hole. Absolute zero room for over cutting.

EPIC VALUE Excellent controller, turned my 1900's furnace into a constant temp high precision oven, all for $35. Kind of complex to wire, I had to use A.I. with pictures to help me figure it out, but it worked. Amazing device. My oven analog dial used to have +/- 20C fluctuations, now with this controller, only +/- 0.3C consistently. After several minutes it will fluctuate only 0.2C above and below target. It is extremely stable and precise, especially after running the autotune feature on first run. Saved me ~$380 from buying a new "constant temp" oven that costs $420. Gamechanger! To wire it I used an old extension cord, cut one of the ends, plus a couple spare pieces of romex wire, and some wire nuts, and wire strippers of course. I recommend using photos and AI to help you if youre not a seasoned electrician.

Perfect. Product is exactly as described.

Good value and works as described!
Works well and good value but wish better instructions. Buttons to adjust temp are a little cludgy. Ir, three or four clicks to adjust temp up or down once set.

Digital temp for kiln
I bought this to get an accurate read on the temp of my kiln. My kiln can with a dial so on medium it is about 1500 degrees. Doing enamel jewelry and paintings I need a more precise read. The thermostat that came with this is not made for such high temperatures. Solve that by using the original thermostat and hooking it up to the digital box. Now I can set the temperatures I need for each type of enamel I use. Very inexpensive way to do this.

Good product!
Works great! Used in a product validation test for running a thermostatic heater.

Does the Job
If anyone is having trouble understanding the directions, here is what I gathered and what I set them to for a heating element. USP = Upper Set Point LSP = Lower Set Point HY1 and HY2 Hystersis - How far off can temp be ex: set temp to 100, and HY to 1 and it won't adjust until temp hits 102 DP - Decimal Point Scy - Lock - skip it PuF - Adjust for temp offset Inp - Input Type P - Porportional Band, adjust intervals, leave at 1 I - Inverval, 540x a second d - Derivative- predicts the future needs. Out - Heat or Cold Hys - Set at one, not used if using Derivative- Ctl - Set to 1 for digitial, not needed for electronic relay C - F Centigrade or Fareniheight AL01 & AL02 = Alarms A01 and A02 - leave at 2, there are 7 settings, but not used for heating element Hold Set USP = 214 LSP - Skip HY1 = 1 HY2 = 1 DP = 0 Scy - Skip Al1 =300 A01 = 2 Al2 = 300 A02 =2 PUF = 4.5 - Calibrated to what the top of my kettle was reading. Inp = Try each one until you find the one that works for your probe P = 1 I = 540 d = On/200.00 Heat Hys = 1 Ctl = 001 C- F = F Lck - skip Hold Blue button for Auto Tune

Great Controllers! Relays not up to 220V 20Amp service.
The controllers are great, Five Stars, easy to use, accurate. However two out of four of the 40 Amp relays failed (in the on mode, causing thermal runaway) after a couple weeks of use on a 220 V 23 Amp resistive heater load. They should not be rated at 40 Amps 220 V. Two of them are holding up fine on 110v 10 amp loads for several months of regular use. The thermocouples have too high thermal resistance to work in air, they also had to be replaced with bare junction wires.

Did not come with the heat sink compound to layer between the relay and heat sink. I had to purchase separately and was $20. Wasn’t happy
