Struggled most of the season getting deer up to skin, this was a breeze to use. Great tool to add to my home processing kit. Bow hunter approved.

I bought this to use with our harness to elevate our dog so we can trim his nails as he is very timid when it comes to grooming. It makes it very easy to hold him up without much effort. Great value!

Works. Probably wouldn't do 2000 pounds but works for what I'm doing.

Really wish I had planned this out better. The thing is as advertised, but, wish they had advertised a bit more. You really can't get an idea of the max diameter you can put the hook over. Had they done so, I would have bought a bigger hoist. My use for this is a hoist system to get heavier items into the attic, sort of like Clark Griswold. Floor to attic roof securing point is I think a fairly normal 15 feet or so. Well, a pulley with a 50' rope just doesn't hack it. With 2 pulleys, 2 full loops, you have in essence 1/4 ratio on potential working distance. Fifteen feet hoist distance, means a minimum 60 foot rope is required. Should have bought one with a longer rope! Also, you have to hook this to something, my choice was a 1/2" pipe between 2 rafters, plenty solid. Only problem, you can't get the hooks to go over a 1/2" pipe diameter. You can fit the pipe through the pulley hook though, just barely, so the install was complicated by the need to already have the pipe pushed through the hook, then install between the rafters. Works but is more complicated. Wish I had known, why not put the max hook diameter in the specifications? Bottom line, the unit works fine, it's just not as large as the pics lead you to believe it to be. So,,,, I'm going to buy a 75 foot rope for it, and re-string it, then it will provide my lifting distance need.

Excellent pulley system kit. I initially purchased one to create a way to elevate my bike when not in use in my garage. I wanted something that contained all the pieces/hardware necessary to hang a bike, and make it easy to access on demand. This pulley system fits the bill. The blue straps wrap around most any bike’s handbar upright and seat post, creating a single point of contact with the pulley’s hook. The rope that is provided with the pulley is very long - long enough to allow the hanging of a bike to a 18 foot high ceiling with room to spare. The rope is also made of a material that is easy to tie down and handle. As for performance, the pulley allows for extremely easy raising and lowering of a bike (or similarly weighted object). It is effortless to raise and lower the bike. The hooks on either end of the pulley are large and of high quality. This kit is so good that I purchased two more; one to raise and stow a second bike and a third to stow my metal wheelbarrow which is only used occasionally. These pulleys have allowed me to clear space in my garage, provided simple access to the bikes & wheelbarrow when needed, are very easy to install and super nice to use. They even come with a pair of gloves to ensure that you don’t get rope burns when you raise & lower your equipment. I strongly recommend this product.

Works great but remember that 50 feet gets short when your running it through 6 pulleys! You’ll get about 16 feet of usable length
