Have always loved this product going back to my restaurant days. It isn't that fake non-dairy creamer and doesn't contain that nasty taste, yet is shelf stable to not need to be refrigerated. Yes it has a stabilizer in it and even some store bought 1/2 and 1/2 has this as well, but doesn't take away from the flavor. Give them a little shake as you would with carton 1/2 and 1/2 before using. Generally 1 is good per 8oz of coffee, so the price point is better than store bought. Storage is kind of a pain if you don't have the room as the box is fairly large. Though shelf stable, I would still say keep it in a cool dry place. Some complaints have been with a few broken ones or even empty? I've not run into that and a quick look through my box they all seem perfectly intact. The pull lid is foil which is durable since some of the other brands use paper and can tear easily. All in all, very good product and cannot beat the price point vs. long shelf life and overall taste. Won't hesitate to buy again.

First, for those that complain about the shelf-life.... this is REAL MILK. It is ultra-pasteurized (albeit there is a few preservatives added), which is why it lasts a bit longer and can go without refrigeration. Nonetheless, it is still milk. Would you drink milk after it has been in your fridge for 3 months [I think not]. So why would you expect this cream to last any longer? Don't buy more than you expect to use in the next month or so, and you won't have a problem. That being said, this is a great product. I prefer the taste of real cream in my coffee, and I order these mini-moos for the break-room in our office. What can I say, other than it tastes like real cream (because it is) and serves its intended purpose well. (I've seen the mini-moos in many fine restaurants as well, which would say something for the quality). The manufacturer recommends you store the product between 45-80 F, which is understandable. Storing it higher may cause the cream to curdle. For that reason, I would recommend having this shipped next-day or 2-day at most. Keep in mind the UPS truck can up to 120 degrees on hot days, and if you have it shipped ground, you might receive a box of curdled cream......

I have purchased Land O'Lakes half and half 192# box several times. I also have purchased Carnation and some of the non-dairy flavored varieties. All together I've purchased about a dozen boxes in total. The Land O'Lakes is the only one that has not disappointed me. I always had "bad ones" in the other brands. Many "bad ones". I have never had any in this product. I do not refridgerate. I keep mine in a see through glass storage container on my kitchen counter. It has a lid which is usually off so it's open to the air, the sun hits it sometimes too. I have occassionally forgotten to rotate the product when I've filled my container up so the ones on the bottom have become quite old. Yes, I have used them anyway. I still have yet to find any bad ones. I know I should have thrown those out but I didn't. I got lucky I guess. "Expiration Issues" seem to be quite large from reading the current reviews, {I can feel people throwing the rocks at me already!), I don't know what my experations dates were. I remove the product from the box and put it into large Ziploc bags as they are easier for me to handle. I also neglected to read the dates! I just don't know if my creamers were expired or not. I thought they were supposed to have a six month shelf life? Regardless, my Land O'Lakes half and half creamers have always been good, even the obviously old ones. I'd just like to add that I love the creamy, rich dairy flavor of this product. My coffee is like a rich bowl of creamy delight with Land O' Lakes half and half. I do use more than one in my cup! It is my "guily pleasure". I just can't say enough about how much I love my morning "mud pie creamed coffee"! There is another thing I truly, truly love about this brand. Its the way they are packaged in these little containers. Many brands, such as Carnation, can be impossible to peel back the seal as they are meant to be opened. I have to resort to getting a steak knife and cutting a hole in the top and squeezing the half and half out. It can be quite messy. One box I received had more than half this way. Not Land O' Lakes. I've not had a single container fail me. Every container has opened exactly as it should. I appreciate this so very much. When I am after my morning "mud pie coffee" things can get pretty nasty is your'e forced to deal with steak knives to get to that cream in that iddy biddy cup! I highly recommend this brand.

When I can keep shelf-stable Half and Half on hand for my coffee, it is my first choice always. I use 4 of these to one 16 oz. mug of Taster's Choice Instant Hazelnut Coffee stick mixed together in hot water. I realize it is probably fattening, but I feel so much better when I use Half and Half in my coffee or hot teas. It seems to help relieve my depression when I drink it this way. I also use these to scramble eggs, hot herbal teas, and in any recipe that calls for Half and Half. Thank you for a wonderful product. I do wish you made them in shelf-stable tetra quarts as well as these. I love using Half and Half in my Southern cornbread. Thanks to Amazon and Land-O-Lakes for selling them at a reasonable price. I am a Prime member and I look for Prime products to purchase so I will get that wonderful guarantee Amazon makes with free 2 day shipping. If you are not a Prime member I highly recommend trying it for free for a month. It has made my life so much easier to be able to order products like this and the many others that are household staples needed each month.

What a great price. I am not sure if $7 was a regular price but you can't beat that price. As far as expiration date, if the product is sent fresh, which ours was, you should have a full 3 months before it expires (if not more) and I can't imagine it would take longer than that to use it, I had no problem. Quality control, however, was kind of comical. Some were full, some had a few drops of cream in them. For me as a consumer it was not a problem, what one was lacking a second one made up for, however, I can see where it would be irritating for a business using them. Not sure if it is a mechanical problem or human error, which ever it is it should probably be more consistent with the cream levels per container.

Another reviewer mentioned confusion of product/seller reviews so for clarity, I'm reviewing the 192 box of land of lakes half and half (multiple sellers probably but this isn't the place for that, and no complaints there anyways!). I've been buying this product for quite some time, and I love it. It's true the expiration dates are pretty short, but another reviewer mentioned seeing similar dates on the same product in stores. Sure it's shelf stable, but it's still cream... Anyways, SO and I can go through about 1 box a month so the short dates are never an issue. That's a rate of about 6 (2-4 each) per day. We love the portability of these for work, and not having to throw away an expired carton of half and half if for whatever reason we go without for a few days. I especially enjoy not having crusties fall into my beverage as is common with the screw top cartons. We do keep them refrigerated, but more out of preference than any hope of extending their life. Overall, very satisfied with this product and will continue to buy!

We ordered a 192 pack box 09DEC2017, then the box received stated an expiration date of 27FEB2018. So we got about a two month shelf life out of what we ordered, which is certainly not ideal. We got it specifically for my sole use at work on my dad's recommendation instead of the horrific Coffee Mate artificial creamers currently offered in the coffee bars. I figured I would have a slightly longer shelf life to use those 192 packets, but that was certainly not so. My dad also said it tasted just like half and half, which is not true. It has a slight acidity from the other ingredients that I can only assume are present to stave off coagulation-- it's better than Coffee Mate creamers, but it's definitely not half and half. My third incorrect assumption was that the shelf life was more of a suggestion than a real shelf life like many no-refrigeration-required products. NOPE. It coagulates anyway despite those adulterants and comes out in chunk form promptly following expiration if not sooner. Shaking them before use does not help much to resolve the cheese. I've proceeded to drink the chunky coffee with no ill health effects several times, and I noticed little change in the taste, but it looks revolting, and I usually end up drinking my coffee black instead of using the Mini Moos. This was a total waste of money for our purposes. Consider yourselves warned: If you're not going to use it in 2 months, don't buy it.

I am about to order my fourth box of these creamers and I couldn't be more pleased! My boxes have all arrived in excellent condition, maybe that depends a lot on the carrier. (Mine are delivered by UPS, in our area if something is delivered by USPS - local mail - packages seem to get thrown around a lot. The taste is excellent. At first I thought I might be indulging a little bit, but the truth is by comparison of buying half n half at the grocery it is actually cheaper considering the times I throw away part of a quart. If I buy it by the pint, I find I have to go to the grocery too often and being disabled this saves me that extra trip. I keep a container full of these in the refrigerator because I like cold half n half in my coffee to cool it down more quickly. I was concerned at first that I would not use these up within three months; but I do and occasionally decide to add a little half n half to something else I am preparing. At 10 calories per little container, I really am not adding too many calories to what I am preparing. Particularly I like it added at room temperature to a rice dish when serving it. (this is when I am glad that some of my containers are not refrigerated) These are perfect, real half n half for my coffee. Not so much for tea as it makes it too rich and I am one who prefers milk in tea but I have found if I add as much water as I add half n half it usually works out. In three months I would spend a lot more money on half n half from the grocery so it is really a saving, not just a convenience.

I am very grateful that the package wasn't damaged and all of the Mini Moo's were intact. And although as others have stated: the expiry date is short, yes, that is true; yet, I am very happy with my purchase. Delivery was fast.
