I received a sample from my dentist, and I liked them enough to buy them. They are much easier to use than dental floss, so I'm more likely to use them. They are not 100 % sturdy, but they hold up much better than another popular brand. They come in two sizes--for small spaces and for large spaces between teeth. If you have trouble with bleeding gums, they will make a big difference in getting your gums healthy again. And they good stocking stuffers. Based on my experience with them, I recommend them.

A family member began using these with great results. They have gum issues that requires they go in to get deep cleanings from their dental hygienist every 3 months. After using these soft-picks daily, their hygienist asked what they were doing- as the gum tissue was much improved. The wide spaced pics are thicker and are not easily found in stores, so we buy from Amazon. Bonus-the package also comes with a small plastic travel case- so you can take with you on the go.

In general, I like Soft-Picks Wider Spaces Dental Picks. The all-plastic brush section is actually comfortable (far more so than the same manufacturer's Go-Betweens, which use a sharp metal wire to hold the bristles ). The white tab is effective for grasping. The springiness of the connecting shaft is just right--unless it gets bent, then it's no longer usable. So why four stars instead of five? Well, how wide is this product that claims to be for "Wider Spaces?" Not wide enough! I don't think the spaces among my teeth are unusually wide. However, this product is simply not wide enough to do the job. I tried using two at a time, and this worked better, but was a bit too much. In sum, the brush section of the existing product needs to be 50-75% wider, in my view, in order to be dependably effective. Still, for I would consider intermediate gaps, it works well enough.

It was hard to find this in the stores so I was delighted to find it online. It was also a better price than what I found in the stores. I have wider spaces between most of my teeth and this size is what I need. I use the smaller green ones for the narrow spaces. I still floss but these picks get more food out than floss. I don't want to do without them. It's made a big difference in not getting cavities.

My dentist recommended these and they have been extremely effective and helping with my gum health. Soft rubber coating is gentle but effective.
