Favorite Make-up Brushes
Brushes by Keshima. Absolutely love these brushes. Wash with a drop of dish soap and warm water, rinse with cold water, shake out excess wter, lay on a paper towel or use a hanging brush holder to dry. I have a couple of Sigma brushes, but cannot tell it is any better.

Great brush but not the best for blush
I bought this brush because I needed to replace my blush brush. The brush is incredibly soft but it is not made for applying blush. The bristles are long and soft so they do not hold the color to apply to your face. It is not easy to clean due to the bristles being so white. I would still say that it is a great value for what you are paying but it is just not the best blush brush.

Get one or some, Amazing
When I received this in the mail I was skeptical of how it was going to work with my contour powder, I was so satisfied and fell in love, I actually had to order another one. The bristles are perfect and not flimsy.

This brush is PERFECT for liquid blush or lighter foundations. It’s got the perfect angle to sweep your cheekbone, or to apply a light bronzer, or to apply foundation evenly exactly where you want it. The bristles are soft and even and it feels feather-light on your skin. The ferrule (where the bristles meet the handle) is tight and secure and not a single bristle shed when I tested it (wish I could say the same for my mid-grade artist paintbrushes!). The length is perfect for makeup application, and the handle finish is a pleasing black matte that isn’t slippery, but still feels good in your hand. It’s a great blush for light liquid or powder applications, spreading evenly thanks to its tightly-packed and super-soft bristles. Other reviewers have noted that a bit of pink dye was released during cleaning and I noted the same, but it wasn’t significant and I suspect would only happen the first couple of times. But what really sells this brush is the price. It FEELS like a $60 brush. It WORKS like a $60 brush. I’m going to buy every brush I can find from this manufacturer, because this is what value feels like. Very impressed with this item!

This is a high quality makeup brush. I've had many a makeup brush in my day, and this one is a keeper. My favourite things about this brush 1. It blends product well. The dense end, I use many different techniques, swiping, blotting, and it never leaves liquid products streaky or unblended. The fluffy end is small enough to use for bronzer or blush, but I use it for all-over powder. 2. It doesn't absorb all my product. 3. It doesn't shed! It absolutely drives me nuts when I have little hairs from the brush stuck to my face after application, I get enough of that from my dogs, lol 4. Dual-ended means I can bring 1 brush instead 2 while travelling 5. It's soft and lux feeling, and looks nice with the gold finish. Only one complaint and that goes with any dual-ended brush, so it's not really even worth mentioning, but you can't really store it upright. I have all my brushes in a mug on my vanity and this one I like to lay out flat. Again, no big deal, I have other dual ended brushes and the convenience they offer while travelling more than makes up for this with me. It's not a negative for this brush, it's just a design thing. 5 stars for me means the product is good quality, works well, is advertised accurately, and I think you will be overjoyed with the product. The product exceeds expectations and I actually get excited to use, and would recommend or purchase as a gift.

I was so put off by the cheesy teenybopper packaging of this brush that I almost didn’t order it. So right off, let me say: ignore the packaging. This is a really great brush, for an amazingly accessible price. The current beauty trend for sculpting the whole face with stick/cream/liquid formulations requires a particular sort of brush: dense, and velvety-soft for the smoothest application and blend. For applying anything powdery over that, you want something lighter—but still dense enough to allow for buffing the powder in; that is the ‘formula’ for the so-called airbrushed look. I’ve been playing with this approach recently. I’ve cycled through quite a few of the pricier ‘viral’ brand brushes (think BK Beauty, Hourglass, Haus Labs, NARS, etc) and honestly, this double-ender is right up there in performance. It feels deliciously soft, and applies/buffs with great smoothness. The product pickup and application is pretty dense… but that’s the point w/ this sort of technique. (Buff, buff, buff to tone it down and get it looking immaculate.) The flatter/narrower end is cleverly shaped to allow ‘carving’ in contour lines, while still being wide enough to serve (perhaps oriented the other way) for wider coverage. It’s like a more precision kabuki for targeted application. It’s pretty amazing how well some synthetic bristles perform, and the bristles in this brush definitely are in that category. (When I peer at them through 10x magnification, it takes a moment to even know they aren’t natural: of course there’s a telltale translucence, but they have a completely natural taper like real hairs; those ultrafine ends of course are what allow for such a smooth application.) The ferrules are thick, perfectly formed/crimped, with no seams and no sharp edges; they join smoothly into the handle. Personally, I love the sleek black-on-black gloss/matte look of the ferrule and handle; it looks elegant and high-end. I wish more of the Keshima brushes had the black ferrule. (And yes: when you click on the Keshima storefront link, you are actually taken to a page full of makeup brushes, and only makeup brushes. That’s their dedicated focus—always a good sign.) In the hand, the brush feels very balanced and steady—and just the right thickness for a firm grasp, without feeling awkwardly chunky (as I find some kabuki-style brushes can feel). Full candour: I am not, generally, a fan of duel-ended brushes—unless they have caps—because I like to keep mine upright in a brush holder. So that’s a consideration. I have not experienced any shedding. Only time will tell how well the glue holds with ongoing use and cleaning. (As it’s so dense, cleaning should be able to focus on the ends of the bristles without getting the ferrule wet. That is always ideal. NB: the QR code on the box takes you to full brush cleaning instructions… in perfect English, no less! ;-p ) In theory you can clean a synthetic brush less, just wiping it clean between uses—but I’m fussy about that and I like a clean brush almost every time. So… if this brush doesn’t hold up, I will amend this review.
