Works for me
I read some negative reviews and decided that I would try it and decide for myself. Besides, for the price they're asking, I would just throw it out if it was garbage. Anyway, the quality of the one I recieved (the 9mm) was very good. It fit the chamber with the slide closed and the threads were fine and worked perfectly. Comes with 8 batteries but you only use 2. Make sure you install them properly, with the positive (+) side facing the screw cap. Read the battery for plus or minus, may be confusing when you compare it to a regular battery. I had no problem removing it. Just shook the gun and it fell out. I lined up the red dot with the iron sights and it was almost dead on at about 30 feet. Still haven't tried the new gun at the range but this bore sight tool is to get you on the target, NOT TO SIGHT THE GUN IN PERFECTLY. Overall, it worked out well for me. I would recommend this product. I WOULD NOT squeeze the trigger with the tool inside the chamber. It may break your striker pin or firing pin. I'm not going to find out.

It does exactly what it needs to do
This is good, small, compact and exactly what it needs to do. A few 'complaints', but nothing earth shattering. -to have this in GREEN so you can tell the difference between the bore sight and the red dot sight. for ease -there is not on/off, its putting the battery in and it's ON. screwing the end cap fully, doesn't mean it's ON, you have to tighten/loosen the end cap "just enough" to have the laser on. Do your sighting, then take the batteries out. -it seats into the chamber VERY well, to the point where I have to push it out through the barrel instead of extracting it from the chamber. Like I said, it does exactly what you need it to do, bright dot. I sighted from ~10 yards/30 feet away, no issues. some odd things but other than that, its a solid buy.

Great product for the price, gets the job done.
Honestly, great tool got the 9mm red dot. Took all of 30 seconds to figure out, and another minute to zero in my laser sight to the bore laser dot at the distance I wanted. Fit perfectly in my 9mm bore, gently tapped it to expel after I was done. No issues whatsoever. Good brightness. Seems accurate according to my rail sights. The "hour" battery life is more than sufficient Would highly recommend!

Sighting made easy
I purchased a 9mm laser bore sight and it preformed perfectly. It fit the 9mm bore easy in and out. Sighting in my pistol was so fast. This little jewel does a great job.

Precision Made Easy: A Must-Have for Every Gun Owner!
As a firearm enthusiast, ensuring that my guns are properly sighted is essential for accuracy and safety. That's why I recently added the EZshoot Bore Sight to my collection, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance. First and foremost, this boresighter is incredibly easy to use. With its red laser technology, it provides a precise and reliable method for sighting my 9mm and 5.56mm firearms. Simply insert it into the barrel, turn it on, and adjust the sights accordingly - it's that simple! Within minutes, I was able to achieve perfect alignment, saving me both time and ammunition at the range. The build quality of the EZshoot Bore Sight is exceptional. It's sturdy and well-made, with a durable construction that can withstand the rigors of regular use. Plus, the compact design makes it easy to carry in my range bag, ensuring that I always have it on hand when I need it most. I also appreciate the inclusion of four sets of batteries with this boresighter. It's a small but thoughtful detail that demonstrates the manufacturer's commitment to customer satisfaction. With plenty of spare batteries included, I can rest assured knowing that my boresighter will always be ready to go when I am. But perhaps the best part about this boresighter is its accuracy. The red laser is bright and visible, even in broad daylight, allowing for precise adjustments in any lighting conditions. Whether I'm sighting in a new rifle or fine-tuning the sights on an existing firearm, I can trust that the EZshoot Bore Sight will deliver consistent and reliable results every time.

Super easy, super quick - worked as advertised
A lot of the 9mm boresight lasers seem to have customer complaints about accuracy (wildly points to the side) or battery failure. Happy to say neither happened with this laser. Pulled it out of the package, loaded the batteries in about 30 seconds and dropped into my G19.5 no problem. Snug fit. I stuck a piece of painters tape over the muzzle to see where the laser landed in relation to the barrel for the purpose of getting a rough idea of whether it was centered in the chamber or not. I only eyeballed it, but it looked like the dot was perfectly centered within the muzzle -- that was a trick I saw on youtube. Not sure how accurate but at least I knew that the laser wasn't pointing off to the side. I used the laser to sight in a Holosun SCS at 15 yards. Moving the green dot over the red dot literally took 3 minutes and most of it was figuring which direction to make adjustments. Up and to the left took longer than I thought. Stupid easy. Taking to the range this weekend to confirm zero. Taking the laser out, I just pushed a plastic straw down the barrel to dislodge the laser and it came right out. No switch to turn the laser off, and those button batteries are small so beware if you are fat fingered. The real test will be this weekend. Would have been nice to have a little carry pouch, but for this price I am not complaining. I put it all in a ziploc bag for now and shoved in my range bag. Tiny batteries so keep track of them. But otherwise I appreciated the ease and low cost. This was exactly what I was looking for!

Works as expected. Sometimes gets stuck in the rifle, so I use a cleaning rod to poke it out. No big deal as I usually have one in my truck, but if you don't have something to poke it out with, it can be tough to extract.

I'm sure that part is my fault. But to label it 9mm/223 usually indicates it somehow does both. If you sell another product that covers the other bore size, label that product separately. It just convolutes things for new firearm owners. I was obviously expecting more than was possible. But naming it like that is misleading. Product wise, my first thought is, no power button? Even if you put a hole for a paperclip on the side where the button could be housed, at least it's something. Taking the batteries out then back in, then out again...really? There are enough loose bits and bobs to worry about with firearms. Don't add to it for Pete sakes. Overall, 3*'s for misleading product name and poor design.

Works as intended. Zeroed right out from the box, good distance coverage.

Poor design. The only way you can remove it from the chamber is by using a cleaning stick. Had to return it.
