EVIL ENERGY Coolant Overflow Tank, Radiator Overflow Bottle 800ml Aluminum Universal Black

I've used quite a few Evil Energy products and have never been disappointed in the quality. No exception here. The bottle is heavy gauge aluminum with the Evil Energy signature flawless and durable gloss black coating. The weld on the hose nipple is stout. The dimple on the bracket that affixes to the tank is such that when dimpled at the factory, it causes the bracket to not sit parallel to the tank and the angle is no longer 90 degrees. Will cause the tank to cant when mounted. A little Dremel tuning in a vise and a couple raps with a soft blow sorts this right out. Very nice product at a great price.

Overall I think the product is good. It was used to add a coolant reservoir to a V8 swapped Miata. Not a lot of room in the engine bay, and this was small enough to fit. Total volume may not be sufficient considering the volume of coolant in the engine and radiator, and the heat it'll generate to cause fluid expansion. It's certainly better than the previous owner who just left the radiator to dump fluid on the ground when hot. Only complaint, which others have mentioned as well, is that the included hose internal diameter is too large for a good fit / seal on the barb on the radiator. Otherwise the product seems well-built, isn't tough to install, looks good, and does its job.

Impressed by this product. Shiny black finish was flawless product didn’t feel cheap. Basic mounting system included which is versatile and could fit just about any application. Strongly recommend this one. Can’t beat it for the price.

We have used many of their products always good quality and good looks. Overflow tank was just what we needed to finish the build.
