Our bath faucet completely broke, but we didn’t want to buy a whole new set especially since we wanted to eventually replace our tub. This was a perfect solution and definitely got the job done. It’s not the highest quality, but was easy to install and is working great. Hopefully it lasts until we swap everything out.

This tub spout with diverter has it all. I personally have never come across one of these that did not allow at least a few drops of water through the bottom spout, once the shower diverter is pulled up to change the water flow. This Danco spout allows absolutely NO water dripping once the spout has been pulled, and it stays that way for the entire duration of the shower. Unbelievably satisfying. I have not even heard of this being a possibility after reading many reviews and item documentations of tub spouts with diverters. They all say that even a brand new one out of the box will drip a little. Not this one. I may have a magically blessed spout, and no others ever produced will do what this one does, but I would rather think that you could get the same results if you purchase one. I highly recommend it. It was very easily installed, just used the supplied plumbers tape on pipe connections and installed in the reverse order that I removed the old one. There are plenty of tutorial videos if you need any additional guidance. It also automatically drops the spout diverter back down when water is turned off (which my old diverter would not do). Only downside for me, and it is totally my fault, is the length of the spout is just a few milliliters shorter that the one it was replacing. That causes a gap of about 3mm between the shower tile and the base of the spout. Haven't decided yet if I will silicone the gap - reviews and information make me hesitant. Still, overall, it's not a big deal. I Highly recommend this spout and would purchase one again.

Please don’t mind this product. It’s cheaply made. The set screw is too short so after installation, the diverter did not seal properly so it caused the water to feel inside the wall cause it a major water damage this is a cheap product and should not be on sale on Amazon. I had to go by Home Depot to purchase a replacement.

The universal fit is Ok, but it doesn't fit like the old one. There is gap almost 1/4" between the bathtub/shower wall and the faucet. I cleaned the threads on the pipe sticking out from the wall, when it stops turning and you can't tighten it anymore the gap is there, and doesn't look good. I need some kind of a spacer trim ring almost 1/4" thick.

I am very pleased with the build quality of the Danco (88703) Tub Spout with Diverter. The finish is fine and the fit is perfect. It was a nice surprise to see how well this diverter unit seals the spout 100% so that all the water heads up to the shower head when the diverter is engaged. No drips and no dribbles at all. My installation has the 4" threaded outlet pipe in the wall and this spout snugged up fine with that. The kit does include additional connection pieces to accommodate other installation configurations if needed. I would highly recommend this diverter spout without hesitation.

The product came quickly and was easy to install. I have only had it for a week but it seems well made and I expect it to last.

Nice visually looks awesome - however once slid on to copper pipe and you need to tighten philips screw underneath... the screw seems to fall short.. really to twist screw to have a grabbing affect!!!

Fit like it should

The last tub spout I had was tight AF and the knob didn't drop down when you turned the shower off. This one works exactly as it should. It seems like you could probably twist it or pull it off the pipe with your hand even after it's all tightened up but overall it's good especially for the money.
