Khombu Men's Riley Snow Boot

I needed a waterproof boot. Winter temperatures in my home state of Ohio typically run in the 20 degree range, give or take ten or fifteen degrees. When it gets colder, I have no problems, but when the temperatures hit the 30s, the snow starts to melt. Wet, sloppy snow makes for wet sloppy walking.My previous boots withstood the cold just fine, but when things would warm up a bit, they'd let the water in. Thus I came looking for a good, solid, pair of waterproof boots. Found one!I spent today out walking, not slowed even a bit by the many puddles left by our melting snow. These are snug, warm, and waterproof.

Nice comfortable boots. I needed some new boots to keep my feet dry and warm in the winter months. These are light in weight and seem to do that. My only complaint is that the boots fit me a bit tight in length and width and allow only one pair of normal socks. I considered returning them but since they are light and warm, I decided to keep them and hope they loosen up with use.

Khombu Waterproof Winter Boots, great fit, warm, good traction on snow and slush. Purchased these boots to keep the water out while shoveling snow. I am retired so while I do not expect to spend long hours in these boots, they are warm and a perfect fit. My shoes size runs between 9-1/2 - 10 "D" and is perfect with normal socks. These are great boots and I am very happy with this product and purchase. Today 03/20/2015 we received about 2" of wet snow which changed to rain. Put on the new boots, cleaned off the car, pushed the snow/slush into the street, boots were excellent, warm, dry and comfortable. My left foot has a high instep boots slid on/off easily.A small tag attached to the boots indicated these boots were used by the U.S. Ski Team!

An excellent light duty winter boot. Along the lines of a Bean Boot but well insulated and nicely warm, in cold and damp conditions. So, except in warm weather, I prefer them. Fine in moderate snow but likely too low profile for long treks in deep snow.Really a great boot overall, as it acts as a snow boot and can be worn for long duration outside. Inside I will keep them on for short duration (an hour) but then they get too warm.

I actually tried the boots on in a store before I bought them here. I bought a half size bigger and fits perfectly. They feel comfortable and toasty. The winter is done for now, but I'll be taking the boots with me to a trip to Iceland and I know it'll handle the terrain there.
