I have this on subscription for my business. I like the quality of the ink versus aftermarket inks. When you compare the prices on Amazon versus other places, it is still saving money, and with the subscription, I know I won't run out in the middle of the day. UPDATE: I accidently bought some aftermarket ink, thinking it was OEM, the difference in quality is like night and day. Even with standard printing, not high quality, it looks like laser printing. With the aftermarket ink, it looks like a copy of a copy of a copy on draft mode. ALWAYS GO OEM CANON INK!

You get what you pay for
After handling printer cartridges and ink containers for a marketing company as the IT jack of all trades, I've seen pretty much every method of getting ink on 8.5 by 11 you can think of. I've tried many, many aftermarket refill kits, and finally realized the old maxim 'you get what you pay for' holds true. The quality of these Canon cartridges is great. I don't have to worry about smearing as it offers top notch print quality, nor do I have to sweat any compatibility hiccups. I will reserve comment on how exorbitant the inkjet industry in general is, but these do exactly what they're supposed to do.

This is horrible! It lasted less than 10 mins. Printed me just 25 pages, and then it was empty and asked for replacement! Not an XL size for sure. What a waste! ;(
