Good taste, consistent product
These recently ran out of stock at my local Asian grocery, so I came here. That alluring, artificial orange color seems a little duller than the ChaTraMue bags I buy in person, but the taste is 100% there. For Thai milk tea, I use 4x the amount of tea mix recommended on the package (i.e., 8 teaspoons per 1 cup), add to off-the-boil water, steep for 4 minutes (5 minutes and beyond will turn it bitter), and then strain through a coffee filter. Any tea leaves that make it into the serving glass *will* turn it bitter. In general, I recommend looking up an online recipe since there are different varieties: American-style Thai tea uses half-and-halfโand the sweetener is separate, allowing you to substitute white sugar for alternatives if you wishโwhile authentic Thai tea uses sweetened condensed milk.

OI anticipated that this would be a loose leaf version of the Thai ice tea, but it is ground tea, same as in their tea bags.
