Multi-Cat Clumping Litter Unscented, 26.3lb

It's the best litter - wonderful aroma and delightful taste; goes down smoothly without scratching and leaves no after-burning. Better still, it has a wonderful ambiance.

Odor free. The house doesn't have that you have a cat litter smell you get even when the scent is activated. This keeps smells gone or at a minimum. I love it.

This stuff seems to have gotten better. It used to have a really bad, sewer-y smell to it, maybe it came from the Chinese mines where it came from, maybe we get it from US mines now as it no longer has that weird insecticide/shipping chemical odor to it that it had a couple years ago. I actually stopped buying this brand because of the terrible odor- this was in the litter itself not from my cats that is- but now they've either improved it, or no longer used the same provider of the clay. I mix this with a natural wood pulp/corn mill litter to supplement and "stretch" out the monthly costs of our litter, as we have FIVE cats and a lot of cat box cleaning to do.

We have two cats in our home along with a dog and a new baby. The new baby is important to this review as my wife is nursing so she can smell everything! We've used this litter for years after having tried multiple products. Important items to use with regard to cat litter are: clumping, odor control and amount of litter needed with each cleaning of the litter box (because this stuff is heavy to carry around). Odor control: This stuff is great. With the old fashioned, but tried and true odor controlling ingredient baking soda in the litter, it does a great job of absorbing odor. With a wife who was pregnant and is now nursing, odor control is priority number one. We only occasionally need to sprinkle a little extra baking soda in the litter box to help out(our younger cat is a stinky one!). Clumping: We've tried many of the more popular brand name litters out there over the years, but we've decided that this brand does a good enough job with the clumping, and so ease of cleaning, along with the odor control that we stick to this. When I say "good enough" I mean that it could be better. Therefore only the 4 stars. We've used other brands of litter that clumped better than this product, but our cats seemed to be very sensitive to it, so we came back to this product. Also, the dust isn't bad at all with this product. So you won't feel like you're breathing in dusty residue as you're cleaning the littler box. Finally, we recently signed up with amazon's subscription service for this product as well as a few others that we regularly need to purchase and bring home from the grocery store. We've found that the price is very competitive, as amazon is well know for, and having it delivered by the postal or UPS service just makes it so convenient. My wife doesn't have to lug these heavy boxes around either, so that's bonus!

My cats litter box is in my bathroom which is attached to my bedroom and this litter is great, no obnoxious smell and it hides his urine smell until morning when I clean it. It’s good at hiding his poop if he buries it but when he just leaves it on top I do wake up over night. I also like the clumping it’s easy to scoop and clean.

Good product

I haven't needed litter for a while because I stocked up ages ago with several hundred pounds' worth purchased at a brick-and-mortar store. I still have some of that, and the difference between the brick-and-mortar stuff and this codswallop is staggering. The stockpile was sandy, and this stuff might as well be gravel. It doesn't clump NEARLY as well either. I scoop up waste, and it crumbles the moment I do. Why bother with clumping litter at all if this is what I get? VERY disappointed. I've been using A&H clumping litter for years and years, and this isn't what I'm used to. I don't know if this is sell-off of factory crumbs, or if Arm & Hammer has, like too many other companies, decided they can lower the quality of an item while charging the same or more. For comparison's sake, I'll try one more box from the brick-and-mortar store, and report back. Hopefully within a few days. If it's the same as this stuff, I'll transition to a different brand and tell Arm & Hammer they've lost a customer. If it's sandy and better-clumping like the previous brick-and-mortar batch, then I'll assume the nonsense Amazon shipped to me is a factory crumb sell-off situation. That was nice of them. I said I'd give the litter another try anyway, and I finally made to the brick-and-mortar store to get some. WAY WAY WAY better. Sandy, clumps well, just like the previous boxes I've purchases at brick-and-mortar stores. Changed rating from 2 stars to 3. I still have no intention of ever buying this litter online again, but I appreciate the company reaching out, and I'm relieved that the new boxes of A&H Unscented Multi-Cat Litter are the quality I expected. Were this particular product the same quality, I'd give it another star. I am DONE buying this product online, but I will continue to purchase it from the brick-and-mortar store. Thanks for reading. My cats and I hate scented litters. This clumps well and keeps odours down but holy crap is it dusty. Now I have sneezy cats lol

We had been using different brands for a long time, and one of my friends introduced this. While it is on the pricy side of cat litters, this is the best one we've ever had. Clumping is excellent - when our cat does the job properly :) and we don't have much tracking. Now i am a repeat buyer.
