Pie irons bring me back to my childhood camping trips with tge church group. I loved making pizza and simple apple or cherry pies using bread. Who knew you could get so versatile? Can’t wait to try these with my grandkids!

If you're new to camping I suppose this would be a great book to get you started. We got a couple of new ideas out of it. Most of what's in there requires you to have canned biscuits or other already prepared food to start with. Pretty simple cooking ideas we already knew about and most of what we make is made from scratch. If you already know about cast iron cooking you probably won't be impressed with this book. If you're new to camping you'll love it!
