New Balance Men's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer

This is like my 3rd set of these New Balance 608's shoes, I use these when working out in the yard because I like how wide the bottoms are on them, and beside they wear great on the foot. The last pair lasted over 2 to 3 years of hard use. I say though, as I did, order a half size up, I wear a 9 in most shoes, but a 9-1/2 wear better to me.Another thing I do is I scotch guard the shoes to start with and it helps. I always try catching them on sale, I just hope they don't discontinue them in the future like they have others I liked, like the 910 V2's I like. Otherwise this is a decent priced shoe and well made still.

I have been in need of a pair of shoes for probably a month and my feet were telling me it's time to get rid of these shoes on my feet 😞 so I went online the other day and saw these and they were at a really really good price and I needed art support cuz my feet were killing me they're nicely thick so they're going to take a pound and I bought two pair one for work and then one for recreation good quality shoe I've had NB before have good traction it's what prompted me to buy the the two pair I figure at the price I really couldn't beat it.

This shoe is pretty comfortable. I only wear athletic shoes and this brand is my favorite. I appreciate the width it offers. The sole on this particular shoe is a little hard but it's still comfortable. I wear them every day and have had them for 5 months now. They are beginning to break down and cause foot and back pain. That's why they only get 4 stars.

This is my 4th pair of these in 4 years. My previous three pairs, the uppers are leather all the way around. I still have them so I checked. This pair is made of plastic on the heel, and plastic on one side along with the toe. Only one side is leather. I've been a leatherworker since 1975 so don't try and say it's not plastic. I'm very disappointed in what used to be my favorite shoes of my life. This is clearly false advertising, and I have bought my last pair. I feel betrayed.

Haven't fully broken these in yet, but they are very comfortable. These feel amazing on my feet. Great support and they seem to absorb a lot of impact. As a university student who walks around a lot and has flat feet, these have greatly reduced my overall joint pain and have kept me on my feet for longer. They also look great, although compared to what my friends wear, they definitely look like I got them out of grandpa's closet. Still, very worth the comfort. One thing I commonly find when wearing New Balances though is they retain a lot of heat, and these do too. Not too bad though. I got them in a half size bigger than normal and I got the wide ones and they fit very well, so consider going up a size. Still very good shoes, especially for the price. I'll update this review after a while.

I really like these shoes, I’ve started to notice the old man gray hairs protruding from my ears, This reminded me of my age so I went for the basic white, 608’s rather than continuing to look through the vast numbers of shoes available. Firstly I noticed they are lightweight , not running shoe weight but daily wear won’t be an issue. American made so no Trump tax had to be paid and quality looks excellent.

I buy New Balance shoes because they come in wide widths. The 608 V5 are usually less expensive than some of the other New Balance shoes. They fit me well (true to size), are well made and comfortable. I like to add these to my cart and wait for a price drop, then buy my next pair. This is my 3rd pair of these shoes.
