Yes, I believe so. I only have one but I see no reason you couldn’t nest another inside

Do you need to use a potholder to handle these?

It depends on how you hold it. The silicone doesn’t get super hot but the glass is glass so it gets as hot as Pyrex would

Does anybody know how to make this thing lock? One tab keeps popping up. I love the concept but i need it to work or in returning it.

You have to make sure the silicon gasket is evenly seated all the way around, otherwise there will be "high points" that won't snap down.
