This is the new chocolate cake mix staple in my home. You could add nuts, chocolate chips, coconut, or any other goodies to this mix! Use frosting, Icing, whipped cream, and even ice cream on top! Sometimes, you just want/need something sweet without making it from scratch. That is where this Duncan Hines box mix comes in handy. Simply add oil, water and eggs and you are on your way to cake. I was impressed with 1) how moist and fluffy the crumb was; and 2) how much it reminded me of a homemade cake. It was springing! I love lemon desserts. This cake mix had a balanced flavor between tartness and sweetness. It did not taste artificial at all. I frosted the layered cake. I always make a little “tester” cake in my 6-inch cast iron skillet to eat right away while the main cake is cooling. You know, something, something fat kid loving cake. The cake was very good on its own as well. A box of cake mix for under $1.50, you say? Yes, please! I will be adding a box or two to my pantry. Yum!

Had a Disgusting smelt like rodent cage when i opened the packet. Thought i may have been imaginating it so I baked it anyway, still had the smell after and when I cut the top off to level it it had all white specks through it that didnt look right so threw in the bin

This was advertised as 3 boxes, which I needed for a cake I was making. Only one box was supplied and it was then too late to order from elsewhere. So I had to let a family member down. I got a partial refund for the two boxes that were not sent out, but this was no good under the circumstances. Orders should be sent out as advertised.

A pesar de que el contenido es para pasteles pequeños me gustan los sabores ya probé varios y lo recomiendo

uno piensa que estos pasteles de cajita por ser americanos el sabor puede llegar a ser muy estándar y artificial, pero me ha sorprendido, he comprado varios de esta marca y todos me han gustado pero particularmente el de fresa no creí que fuera estar tan delicioso como quedó. Salió muy esponjoso y el sabor es parecido a fresas con crema, es muy rico y no se siente artificial, les recomiendo modificar la receta que es lo que nosotros hicimos para mejorarlo aún mas y quede con mejor sabor y textura (agregar polvo para hornear, limón, un poco de vainilla, sustituir el agua por leche, etc). definitivamente vamos a hacer mas, no he comprado otras marcas de pasteles de fresa para comparar sabores pero este es buenísimo recomiendo esta marca.
