So far no metal taste. Works well.
I like to wait as long as possible to give an honest review. It started to not pour water, but that was because I was used to it working so well that I forgot it needs to charge 😂. So yea, it definitely works and charged with no issue. It doesn’t give off a metal taste like the ones I’ve tasted from other people. HOWEVER, it hasn’t been a year yet so idk if it will change over time. But for now, it works well and I’m satisfied.

Simple, space-saving, and way easier than lifting heavy water jugs
We used to constantly buy cases of bottled water, and it just didn’t make sense with how much plastic we were going through. We looked into getting a larger water dispenser, but they take up too much space and require lifting and flipping heavy bottles. We wanted something simpler that we could use with a gallon or 5-gallon jug on the counter, and this ended up being exactly what we needed. Setup was easy. Just make sure to wash the hose before first use, then attach it and place it on top, and it’s ready to go. The water flow is steady and not too slow, and you can see that in the video. We’ve been using it for about a year now, and it still works great. It makes getting water so much easier, and we don’t have to deal with lifting or flipping heavy bottles anymore. Even my niece who’s seven can use it without any issues. The battery lasts a long time too. We can go a couple of weeks without needing to charge it. My mom liked ours so much that she ended up getting one too. Overall, this has been a simple, practical solution that saves space, cuts down on plastic, and just makes things easier.

Awesome Seller
I ordered this yo use for aftwr helene while our water is still contaminated. I plugged it in like normal and nothing had worked, light came on but dimmed immediately woth a different charger i used, original didnt work. I went to get a repalcement to try it again and not even 10 hrs later i had a notification saying that the repalcement got sent out and recieved that next day. Very pelased as i havent even returned the one that had issues yet. I recieved it today and charged it per instructions and tested and it works perfectly! Will update with another review later on to see how well it holds up. It is louder than anticipated but works perfectly and quickly. Way easier than having to pour water to wash my hands or brush my teeth.

Cheap, Cheap, Cheap
I bought this small pump, so that I didn't have to pick up a 5-gallon bottle of distilled water to fill my humidifier. It arrived very quickly. I charged it overnight. After attaching the hoses to the pump (No small task as it was like trying to push wet pasta down a hole!), I started the pump. Water started flowing from inside the pump around the output port. It was NOT coming from around the hose, but from inside the pump around the hose fitting. I put a towel around the neck of the bottle to catch the spilling water. After one minute the pump automatically stopped. I restarted it by pushing the power button. After another minute, it shut off again. A safety feature so you don't flood the room? Nothing in the directions about that. I continued to push the power button after each time it shut off until the humidifier container was full. A total of 7 pushes for 7 minutes of pumping. (My kitchen water faucet has a sensor on it. After to turn the water by waving your hand near the faucet, the water turns on for 2 minutes, then turns off.) This pump is cheaply made, is rechargeable, and I will probably keep it, but will buy some other pump if this one dies.

Poor design choices make this prone to failure
This is the 2nd unit I've had (1st one died at right before it's 1 yr mark). So this one lasted a fair bit longer. Had a few weird "hiccups" in the past few years (each time making me think, there is goes, it's probably dead) but it surprising would start working again. However, this time, it "hiccupped" for the last time. It refused to turn off. I thought there was a circuit timer that would actually shut off the pump after a certain amount of continuous operation but it just wouldn't stop. So it ran and ran until the battery eventually gave out. Since the unit wouldn't charge any longer I had to open it up to investigate. The battery is sitting dangerously low at ~1.8V (normal range would be between 3V and 4.2V). Glad to see that the charging IC didn't fail as well and allow the circuit to attempt charging the battery. Further investigation revealed that the tactile switch is the source of the failure. Terminals are continuously shorted. I attempted to clean it with isopropyl alcohol to no avail. So I'll have to desolder the switch and try a new battery. Unfortunately, with the way this is designed, if the switch fails in this manner it will also kill the battery since there is nothing to stop it from continuously running it into the ground. Docking points for poor hardware choice and circuit design aspects that allows one failure to then cause more failures. These tactile switches are notoriously bad for applications like this since moisture easy corrodes the device. Adding points back considering that this is at least put together in a way that someone familiar with electronics can service it.

Great product. Easy set up and holds a charge
A work horse, this is so much nicer than the manual pump. We’ve used it through 3 bottles and have not needed to charge it. After going through full size water coolers with hot and cold and having to replace them every few years, we heat the water in an electric kettle and just add ice for cold water. It takes a bit longer, but more energy efficient.

2 Years In, Still Operates!
Today is 4-23-2026. I officially purchased this item 2 years ago. I wanted to come back here and write a review. It’s a good purchase if you decide to get one. It still operates and dispenses water like described. I charge it about once a month but I don’t have a large family like other reviews. It’s mainly me who uses it so that may be why the charge last longer.

Short lived.
Living and traveling in a motorhome, I use a 3 gallon jug for drinking water. I love having an automatic spout, except they don't last long. I've had 3 of these. The first one was my fault because it accidently went into a sink of water. The others stopped charging. This current one worked for about a year but the last time it was charged, it lasted for one drink then would not work. I charged it all night and it did the same thing. I'm trying a different company this time.

I got this to use for a self sufficient kitchen for my son and I love it, so easy to use and 1 charge lasts for ages.

Decent pump within a moderate price range
Overall product built is alright but 2 things could have been better - 1. A little more flow 2. a better silicone pipe which would not float
