I have long had my grandad’s medals in a display case as with me still being in the military and always being on parade at remembrance; I do not have the opportunity to wear them. As I am now approaching the end of a 34 year career, I will be able to wear those I have earned alongside those he did which I believe are far more credible and hard earned than any of mine. This will go in the display case and the original will be mounted along with the other he earned.
