So this fit perfectly in my Frigidaire Gallery fridge. Works great and definitely improved my water flow by at least double!There are two noticeable differences between this filter and an OEM Frigidaire filter. (and I did replace the filter the first time with a Frigidaire filter at the expensive cost... won't do that again).The first difference is this filter is slightly louder. I don't know how else to explain it, but when the water runs through it I can actually hear a swishing sound that I never really noticed before on the Frigidaire filter. And I notice it when the icemaker fills up. It doesn't bother me at all, but it is a difference.The second difference is the amount of water it takes to "prime" the filter. The Frigidaire filter was primed after about 1 gallon of water running through it. No big deal. This Crystala took closer to 2 gallons to really prime the water and get it clear. Again, not a huge deal breaker for me because it was just a few extra minutes of work for a filter that was less than half the cost.The water quality tastes the exact same for me and my wife. We notice no difference in that. I'll definitely continue to buy this filter since it works great and is way cheaper!

I've bought 2 of these now. The one I just replaced I decided to cut open since in a review of another aftermarket brand I saw pictures of a carbon filter half the size of the cylinder container inside when compared to a cut open OEM. The OEM filter carbon fits snuggly inside it. The Crystala filter does as well. The water tastes great and looks crystal clear indicating a very close copy of the OEM filter at half the price. Box does say made in China which the OEM probably is as well. I've ordered another brand which advertises made in the USA. I'm going to cut that one open too and compare to this when I'm done with it. I would buy this again, good filter.

I installed this unit five days ago, and so far so good. It looks and feels almost exactly like the brand name water filer, which costs more than three times as much. It was easy to install, and the water tastes great so far. I was hesitant to replace my old filters very often because of the cost, but at this price, I'll definitely be replacing them right on schedule. So happy to find a third-party company making these things at a price that isn't a total rip-off.

This has worked well in my refrigerator. I cut one open to see what's inside (see below). It uses a carbon cylinder which is very similar to what's in the Frigidaire brand as far as I can tell. Since it's made of carbon, it should filter chemicals/odors. I guess it would also trap sediment as the water passes through the porous material from the inside of the cylinder to the outside or vice versa.I received one with a broken inlet and called the customer service number on the filter. Someone answered right away, found my order, and shipped a replacement.

This is a much more affordable replacement filter than the OEM Frigidaire refrigerator filter. It has the same NSF ratings. It has much better water pressure than the OEM filter did. The water fills a glass very quickly. The OEM filter always had disappointing water pressure. My only concern is whether it is really filtering as efficiently as the OEM due to the significantly increased water flow. It is definitely filtering because the water tastes much better than the city tap water. Overall very satisfied.

When it came time to replace my filter again, I found that the replacement filter I had used previously was no longer available. After reviewing many units on Amazon, I selected this one. I installed the unit as outlined in the instructions and it is working very well, good pressure, no leaks and the water tastes great.Seeing other reviews mentioning leaks and having replaced the filter previously, I want to pass along a little trick. When I replaced my filter for the very first time, I re-used the original "lock" piece from the original filter. If you look carefully at the "saw tooth" piece on top of the filter, it can be removed and then exchanged with the one on the new filter. If you do this be careful to install it in the correct orientation or it will not lock properly and will leak (in other words look at how the "saw tooth" is installed before you take it off. If you're not sure you can remember, take a picture!). Also be sure to remove and install carefully as the parts are plastic.Additionally it is very important to "run water for 5 minutes" per the instructions. After first connecting the filter and running about a gallon of water, I noticed that the water was still murky. After running another gallon or so through it I found that the water was crystal clear (and the 2.5 gallons or so turned out to be right at 5 minutes of water flow time).

Fits perfectly, great price, great tasting water. No issues at all with fit or function, will buy again when the time comes. We have a Frigidaire Gallery series fridge manufactured in 2016.We purchased the Frigidaire Pure Source filter from another seller first, and had to return it unfortunately. The part numbers where the same except the last digit. Our filter that came with the fridge is HS0564E2134 1, the Pure Source filter initially purchased arrived as HS0564E2134 2, so I guess it was a new revision. They looked identical, but did not fit, as it had an additional key feature in the 9 o'clock position . . Our fridge only has a mating feature in the 12 o'clock position as seen in the photo.Hopefully this review will save buyers and sellers some hassle, time and money. Thankfully the Crystala filter listing had proper photo's allowing me to see that it also only had the key feature in the 12 o'clock position so we bought it and everything works great!
