Great cheap kettle
Brought this to go camping with as just about the same price as a travel kettle, to say this was pretty cheap it’s a great kettle, good size, doesn’t take too long to boil and is very quiet.

Okay but poor spout
Cheap and okay. Looks clean and fresh. No plastic taste like you get with other kettles. Easy opening pull back lid. Good size but what lets it down is the spout, which doesn’t pour nicely. It spills everywhere so for that reason wouldn’t buy again

Do not purchase very cheap a dangerous!! No help in getting the matter resolved
I ordered a Daewoo Essentials 1.7L Fast Boil Electric Kettle – Black Plastic Cordless Jug with Auto Shut-Off & Boil-Dry Protection. On the 25 September 2025, the kettle is dangerous, so I wrote to Daewoo as it is still under warranty. Daewoo said i need to report the fault to Amazon, so I spoke to the online AI (Rufus) The kettle opens when we are pouring hot drinks and therefore very dangerous. Rufus directed me to Customer service for amazon.... I am still struggling to navigate the Customer Service page to complain!! Very disappointing!

Performance
Good basic kettle from a hood maker. True to its listing, it really does boil much much quicker. Side opening lid is brilliant for mixer tap as allows more filling space. Very pleased
