Skip these worthless things!
These are garbage. They don’t do a thing and they fall off super easily.

These Pads Are Wonderful
Dr. Frederick's Original Tailor's Bunion Pads - 4 Pads - Soft Gel Bunionette Pad - Shield - Cover - Protector - Tailors Bunion Pain Relief - Bunions Treatment - One Size Fits All - Wear with Shoes A podiatrist recommended this type of cushion instead of the one I was crafting with scissors and tubular foam bandages. I chose the Dr. Frederick's, and I've been using it daily for more than two months. The pain in my foot continued unchanged for a bit, but gradually began to decline. The constant callous-corn cycle paused, and then started reversing (with a little encouragement from me). But best of all, the pad seems to be helping the cause of the bunion: unstable metatarsal bones in my left foot, the hangover from a torn ligament about four decades ago. I have less pain in the foot and more stamina, so I can stand longer and walk farther. I consider this almost miraculous, though I can't say that it will be so for all. The pad is easy to position and it stays in place under my sock. It's also quite easy to clean.

These actually work!
I got these because I got a new pair of suede roller skates and the break in process is painful on my [minor to moderate] tailors bunions. Initially the only frame of reference I had was not wearing them vs wearing them so from that standpoint they did help! There was still a tiny bit of pain, but I don’t expect a miracle for $10. I’m writing this, though, because today I forgot these at home and just used a pair of moleskin bunion protectors from Walgreens with my skates and IMMEDIATELY was in pretty bad pain. So much that after 30 min of skating I had to stop. Yesterday with the Dr. Fred’s pads I skates for about 2 hours and had no pain at all. Yes it is annoying that you have to tape them down, but that’s a small price to pay for a product that actually works! They’re also not toe spacers!! They’re just a pad so look elsewhere if you want a pad that doubles as a toe spacer! Well worth the money.

Could Be Very Helpful
I have tried these bunionette pads several times since they arrived. They are great to start with. After I start walking and moving, the pad part slips around and is not covering the area where I need cushion. If there was a way to secure the pad in place so it doesn’t slip, they would be awesome! The size is great and they are effective when they are in the right location. They’re comfortable as well. I just need to figure out a way to keep them in place.

Great quality pad that protects tailor bunions and helps with pain
So I had surgery on my right foot for a bunion and a tailor's bunion over 2 years ago and thankfully that helped with the pain, but unfortunately I also have a tailor's bunion on my left foot that's been starting to hurt a lot nowadays. I don't want to get surgery again unless I have to so I've been looking for other solutions. I was eyeing this for a while but I was skeptical of the quality and whether it would work or not. I finally bought them recently and I'm glad I did! The pads are a super thick and soft gel material and they cover my tailor bunion well. I wore them with sneakers and socks and my shoes didn't feel tight. I was able to run errands without pain and it felt amazing. My feet did start to hurt a little after a few hours but it was still better than before. The only downside is that after those few hours, my pinky toe felt a little pinched and got a little red from the toe loop, but I don't think there's much you can do about that. Hopefully I'll get used to it over time. I also haven't had any issues with the pads moving around in the shoe, I didn't tape them down but they stayed in place the whole time. I've worn them a couple times now, but so far so good! I'll update this review if there's any changes or problems.

Not sure what this is accomplishing?
I genuinely have no idea how this is supposed to decrease the pain of tailor’s bunions. it’s a very thin, very useless gel-like “cushion” which hangs loosely from your pinky toe. It doesn’t stick well to the foot, so you can only use it when wearing shoes that go with socks (aka no sandals/slides) - but that’s not the issue. The issue is my tailor’s bunions still HURT, badly. maybe even worse. Pressure on the bunion is not relieved with this product, but is actually almost worsened since it adds another layer and increases tightness and pressure along the outside of the foot. I don’t see any improvement in pain, symptoms, or appearance of my bunion when using this product at all.
