This was my less expensive solution to having propane for the grill and propane for the patio heater whenever I wanted. No moving a tank or reconnecting a hose required. Easy to use, easy to hook up. As long as you have adequate length of propane hose available, and a way to hook it up without it being a hazard, this is a useful item to have. Take care when hooking up. Don;t overtighten any fittings and you should be leak free for a couple season at least.

I wanted to tap into my Rv to hook up my Blackstone. This was a great product to do that without have to run another propane line.

I received this item and immediately installed it on my propane tank. When I turned on the gas you could hear rushing propane coming from the valve at the connection. I reinstalled with the same result. I tried using plumbers teflon tape which helped a bit but tesing with my propane detector showed that it was still leaking. I tried to tighten the collar and it broke off in my hand and yes, I was putting some significant pressure on it to resolve the leak. So, then I try to return this defective item and Amazon's automated system won't accept returns. I went through the process twice and both times Amazon would not accept ANY return, refund or credit. Is this a new policy that Prime members should be aware of? I contacted customer service by telephone and after explaining the situation I was finally given a gift card credit. I've NEVER had an issue returning anything to Amazon so this was quite a surprise. Buyer Beware...
