Works properly.
These passed the test. I've had some 7805's that would drop out when loaded... the first one out of this package did the job OK to fix the circuit. Good.

Good deal
I have been repairing some CB radios and suddenly I found myself out of 7805 regulators! New ones had to be found. Best deal was here on Amazon, 25 pcs for $7, that's a steal. They arrived quickly and it turns out they are from ON semiconductors, a quality brand!

Working Great!!!
Paired these with a big fin heat sink as by themselves, these get extremely hot (burnt my fingers after on for a few seconds). But with the heat sink, keeping a steady 76ยฐ F during operation and longest one running constant full amperage for over a week streight without any breaks. Designed my PCB with a 1206 Resetable 1.2a fuse to protect the 7805 as the max is 1.5a out. But at 1.1 amp draw, gettting voltage of 4.96v, so some voltage drop at higher usage, but still well within spec.

Output voltage is too low
Pros: They arrived quickly, they all seem to be brand new, and there really are 25 of them. Cons: You get what you pay for. I tested all 25 voltage regulators when they arrived, and not a single one is actually 5V. Tested with 13V input, the majority of these only output 4.1V-4.4V, and a few output 4.5V. My use case requires 4.9V-5.1V, so these simply aren't usable.
