The knob provided is way too small and does not fit shaft properly.1. The set screw in the knob will not reach the flat cut in the shaft.2. The diameter of the knob is too small making it hard to turn.Now I am back to spend more money on a proper knob.

So the good news first. It measures 21 ohms and within 5% is okay. Now the bad news. It comes with a knob that doesn't fit down the shaft far enough to use the set screw, but since it doesn't come with a set screw, I guess that's irrelevant. I can move the wiper arm by hand to change the resistance, but it sure would be nice to have a working knob. Maybe I can find one in my junk box. One of the tabs was broken off, but the company promptly replaced the pot with a new one. Really good customer support.

I needed this for testing power supplies, so I don't need an easily adjustable knob, just an adjustable resistor with a high power rating and lots of room for error (which 100W grossly over provides). The fact that the knob won't work without a wrench is a problem. This makes it actually work reasonably well for my unique use case, but anyone wanting end users to adjust something with this pot will not be happy. I was fine however, and indeed it helps keep my setting of 18ohms well well between uses.
