Easy and Effective – How the Stowsen Repair Kit Restored My Bathroom Vanity
I used the Stowsen Multi-Color Surface Repair Kit to fix deep chips and cracks on my engineering stone vanity in the guest bathroom, and I’m impressed with the results. The kit was incredibly user-friendly, with clear instructions that made the entire process straightforward, even for someone who’s not a DIY expert. The color options included allowed me to perfectly match the repair to the existing stone, making the defect virtually invisible. I was concerned that the repaired area might stand out, but the finish blended seamlessly, and it feels as smooth as the original surface. I also appreciate the durability of the repair; it’s held up well with daily use and looks just as good as the day I applied it. This kit is a must-have for anyone looking to fix chips or minor defects on stone surfaces. It’s cost-effective, easy to use, and delivers professional-quality results. Highly recommend!

Great repair kit!
So much easier than I was expecting! First week in our new house and we decided we wanted to change out the shower heads in the bathrooms. Unfortunately the plumbers wrench did not get a long that well with our shower tiles. We ended up with a chipped edge and a small dent. The kit comes with everything you need to easily repair any number of white hues and overall It was far simpler than I was expecting. The kit comes with a number of white hues... Simply find the right color match, fill and bake with the included light and it comes out looking as good as new. A few tips learned the hard way: Using the clear strips to smooth the filled ahead of and while baking will give you a seamless surface. Make sure not to overfill your crack or you will have a lot of sanding to do. Overall it's a great kit that works well and allows you to restore your tiles to their flawless finish I'm removing one star simply bc my kit didn't come with the eye protection film as indicated to use in the instructions.

Invisible repair and really works fast
This stuff really works and cures in a minute. A couple of caveats: 1. Use masking tape to carefully mask off any areas around the repair. If you overfill the repair, the sanding to remove the overfill is tedious. 2. Less is more to prevent overfilling. It's a little confusing as to which syringe to use but I found the ceramic works for quartz. Have not used the acrylic yet. I've done 3 repairs -- 2 on chipped ceramic tile and 1 sizable chip on a quartz countertop. The first repair was overfilled and spread into the grout -- almost impossible to remove after curing, but in this case hardly noticeable. The quartz repair took lots of small pieces of masking tape to prevent overfilling, but came out great. See photo. Highly recommended.

Don't use for filling travertine holes
First of all, this is not easy to use. I can see if you use it a few times, you will get better. Second of all, if you use it to fill travertine holes, the crack still shows up. I could see that it might work a bit better on a chip out of marble. For travertine, get the paste and just fill the hole.....works a whole lot better.

I was OK
Took me 3 tries and it is better than I started. Be very careful with the polishing tube - even pressing the plunger gently it came flying out of the tube all over the place. The tips about taping off the areas is is key.

Buy This
Had to repair a chip on the corner of a quartz countertop and initially used another brand (also purchased on Amazon) and after FOUR days of waiting for the material to cure and harden I came back and ordered this and fixed the chip within 30 minutes. Just buy this—instructions are easy to follow and the light works very quickly to harden.

Not perfect, but I will probably be the only one that notices
I had four repairs to make. There was a chip on the edge of a white marble counter in a bathroom. The kitchen's dark brown granite had two 1/16 inch cracks next to a drop-in stove, and also a very visible chip in the edge of the sink. I used clear fill on the white marble, ran the ultraviolet light 4X more than instructions said and sanded very carefully. Try to not sand outside the repair. That worked great. No one but me will ever know there was ever a chip. The dark granite was harder. For the sink chip I combined tiny drops of clear and black in three rounds. Again, 4x the time with the light for each round and lightly sanding each round with a block to rebuild the edge. The filler ended up more polished than the granite, but it was still a good outcome. When I told my wife I wished it was better she couldn't even find the repair. For the cracks next to the stove I used clear. I over sanded by about 1/2 an inch on the sides of the cracks which removed the surface shine of the granite. I could not seem to sand and polish the shine back, so be careful. These slightly dull spots look like they are just a little smudged and are hard to see, but it would not have been good if it happened on the highly visible sink chip! Follow instructions to tape off very close to repair area to avoid this. In short, for a few bucks and a little time our counters are repaired. New owners might live here for months before noticing the spots. I am happy!

UV light is junk, does work with some issues...
A while ago I had to cut off a faucet handle with a saws-all. The result was the darker picture with the cuts. The Good: This repair saved me about $1000 and the labor of me replacing the countertop. It blends well and seems to be pretty solid. Easy is an understatement. If you do it in layers it works best in larger areas. Just keep building it up/curing/sanding. You'll get there. While this is a great product I was disappointed because the UV light that came with it to cure the stuff was defective. I could only use setting 3. Setting 1 and 2 would shut off. This resulted in me hitting it with the light probably 10 times longer than I would have had to iff the thing worked right. Also, who knows if the cure strength is different? All-in-all $50 vs $1000, I'll take this any damn day. Oh, and I tried buffing with the enclosed buffer wheel and my 30,000 rpm Dremel. That's WAY TOO FAST. Just burns stuff up. Use a low RPM tool, or it might not need buffing.

Brilliant
This is a really good piece of kit. I chipped my bath badly and although I need to sand it down a little and apply another coat it’s better than it was for a fraction of the cost of A pro Coming out

Worked great!
Had a chip at the corner of my quartz countertop about 5mm wide x 3mm depth near the sink area. Dropped a heavy glass jar while washing which caused it and I was so disappointed. Searched online and came across so many different types but decided to go with this since it’s says dries in 20 seconds. Not the cheapest compared to other ones but in my mind you get what you pay for. This product worked perfectly at filling the chip! And it does dry very quickly when the UV light is applied. Maybe not 20 seconds but about 30. Just follow the instructions. Sorry didn’t take any before pics as I was too eager to fix the chip. The after pics can speak for themselves as you can barely tell except by the reflection of the lighting.
