Yes it will worked on my 97 TJ but be aware the tool is very thin and can dig into your hand when you squeeze it so wear gloves and you'll be fine

I believe so, I had a 05' Chevy cavalier.

Will this work on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?

I used it for a 2004 Saturn Ion. Most GM cars after 2000 use the same type returm spring. It should work.

Will this tool work on rear calipers to remove the park brake cable?

Yes, although space may be an issue, especially if the brake hose is still connected to the caliper, or the caliper is mounted to the bracket. Removing it from the bracket at least, is almost always required. I always use a second set of pliers to manipulate the end of the cable, then slide these in to extend the cable out, then use both to pop the cable out of the housing. I will say, the only "easy" way to pull e-brake cables is to simply disassemble the rear parking brake mount from the back of the caliper in pieces. Obviously this only saves time if you are replacing the caliper.
