Works great so far (used several times)
5 stars so far. Bluetooth connected easily and it charges fast. I drive an old car without Bluetooth stereo so this works great to play music while driving. Controls work exactly as promised and it even comes with a little lanyard so I can attach to my keychain. Definitely worth the reasonable price! Will be putting it to a real test on my next commute day as that is about 2 hours each way.

Works 100% with my Android Pixel.
I have a newer Pixel Android phone. I've tried several remotes - none worked correctly. I was mainly looking for a remote to control my audio apps so when on my winter walks I could change tracks, volume, etc. with my hands in my pockets. This works perfectly. Every control works. When the camera app is active the shutter control works as well. Big plus is that it's rechargeable. So I'll say it's fully compatible with many models. I like the size - about 2.5x1.25 inches. Build quality feels a bit cheap but it feels good enough.

Great remote to control music from a distance or take a picture
Love this remote but I gave it 4 stars because I have gone through a few, after about a year it stops holding a charge. They are cheap enough that I didn't mind replacing it but still. But it's super easy to use and small so it's easy to tuck into a pocket. I teach Group Exercise classes and I use this to stop and start the music. Much easier than trying to control on my watch.

Does exactly what I need
I bought this for in the car because my radio doesn't have Bluetooth and I was afraid a cop would stop me for changing the music on my phone (my state is strict about phone use in the car at all). I put a velcro sticker on the back of this remote and on my dash, and it's perfect. It connects in less than a second and stays connected until I turn it off. Never had any issues with having to reconnect. The buttons are a little small so it's hard to tell what I'm feeling when I can't see either in the dark or while I'm driving, so I put a rhinestone nail sticker on the forward button since that's the main button I use, and now I use it easily with no problems. It works with my iPhone 11 while it's connected to my car radio with an aux cord. I haven't had to recharge it yet even though I've been using it almost every day for like a month, just turn it off when you're not using it. It takes a very common charger you likely already have laying around the house, because I did (I can't figure out exactly what it's called but it's a micro USB something or other).

Great little item!
I read a review, and bought it. The review had a question: " Is it soft buttons"? The answer was yes. So I assumed ones like a TV remote, soft and quiet. They are NOT. they are clickers.! I bought this for a specific reason, mine is for a cellphone (Samsung S9) to listen to music at night in bed. The issues with this one is that it is noisy to the wife, as she can hear the clicks. The buttons are so flush with the case that it is difficult to find the right ones with your fingers. My whole purpose was to relax and be able to pause, select tracks and volume without the need to look, or turn a light on. I have to find a way to glue something to the buttons to raise them a little just to be able to feel them. But that is for my specific use. The remote itself works well, easy to connect to Cellphone via blue tooth, and works as described. I gave it less stars because of the answer about the buttons. You can judge for yourself with this review though. Yes, it works, Yes it is as described, but not so with the buttons. They work though. For normal in the light use, and for camera shutter, it is perfect! It is rechargeable. That is ok, but would have rather had a lithium watch battery in there. Then I can easily change it. When the rechargeable battery goes, you have to either find one to replace it and do some disassembly and soldering, or buy a new item.

A lifesaver for playing mp3 files
I am a die-hard iPod user. I have had one clipped to my shirt for 5+ years. I got hearing aids and needed to play my mp3 files from my phone instead of my iPod. I hear the audio via the phone Bluetooth that connects to my hearing aids. The problem is trying to control the music/audiobook player with a phone is horrid. With a bunch of research, I purchased this sweet little "Wireless Media Music Remote Control ". What I needed was something that would allow me to start and stop the audio at the push of a button. It works wonderfully! You have to keep in mind that the controller cannot read minds. You have to open the music player first. Then the buttons work perfectly. Every once in a while, it activates my "hey google" feature instead. What can you expect when the phone has hundreds of programs and this little clicker sends a signal to the phone that says "start" or "stop" - how does the phone know what I want? With that very minor issue, it is still the best solution. I can listen to audiobooks with my phone and start/stop anytime, advance forward/reverse 10 seconds with a click. When I need to have a conversation with people in the room I click stop. When the conversation ends, I click start - no one is the wiser that I have a book playing. For me, I have the clicker hanging with a string around my neck. Easy Peezy. Oh, one more thing - I do not use the native player that came with my phone, I downloaded (from the play store) "Smart AudioBook Player." It took a little learning but it is powerful and makes everything seamless. One other benefit is this clicker does work with other phone features like taking pictures and controlling other players (Netflix, youtube, prime, etc).

Triggers Weird Behaviors (MUST READ)
My use case for this item is very simple: I wanted to be able to pause/skip podcasts in the dark while in bed getting ready to sleep. The tactile buttons allow me to control the playback without dealing with the bright screen. With that said, everything worked perfectly. Then after a little more than one month of being a happy camper with this, it started to act very strangely. At first when I used it at night (as described), nothing happened. So I thought maybe the charge was low so I fully charged it. Afterward, I used the remote while looking at the phone and then I realized that the buttons started to do different things. For example, pressing the play/pause button started to trigger different press on the player. Volume changes caused text to be selected (in the podcast description). Then I thought, maybe I needed to restart the phone and that didn't fix the problem. If you think perhaps it's because of a phone update, that isn't it because between when the device was working fine to when it's not, no update was applied. The gist of it is, the remote did not die (as that's less surprising) but just started to do different things when the buttons are pressed. Action Taken: Powered off/on the remote, fully charged the remote, restarted phone. and forget remote on phone and resynced the remote. I think I've exhausted all the possible things you can do to resolve the problem.

Perfect remote for FiiO M21 DAP
After reading some negative reviews, I hesitated to buy this mini remote for my DAP. I am happy to report it paired great with the FiiO M21 DAP. Now I can activate the control buttons' "hold" function on DAP and use the remote to control volume, song index, and pause/play remotely. The cheap plastic finger strap is not the same as the one shown on picture, but I don't use it anyway. Hope the remote will last.
