Its a strange looking collar but has been worth its weight in gold for me. I walj my dogs off leash around the farm and stuff comes up. My hound just cant help himself when he sees another being so i am hff appy for the leash when getting him to come vack home. Another can be aggressive to certain dogs so i can grab the leash in a flash but can mostly let her walk off leash. The leash is longer than other similar collars I've used which is great. Ive used them for several months now. One has a small tear in it and one is slower to recurl but overall i love these collars and will reorder

Perfect for providing a quick way to put a dog walking off lead, on lead when needed. It’s designed perfectly for dogs that heel well when you need to temporarily be sure they stick close or there’s a leash requirement. It’s all I use now for my 50lb pit bull when we’re walking in the neighborhood or on a busy trail. It’s NOT for dogs that pull or don’t walk on lead well. GREAT PRODUCT, can’t recommend it enough.

The design is best for large dogs. I have a 35 lb dog and it seems to work for emergency control. The string is a little fragile. It have been great to use a backup if e-collar is not available .

I want to give it a four star review bc it does not always completely recoil ; but this has been such a great purchase I can’t not give it five stars. Our dog has a ton of energy so letting him off is great when no one is around, but when I need him under control it’s right there. If you’re dog pulls really badly this might not be the solution for you. We’ve gotten it wet, sandy, muddy etc a lot and it still works great. When it doesn’t recoil all the way I just squeeze it a little and it goes.

Purchased in February, ruined and ineffective by June. The concept is awesome and works really well for a hiking dog but this product is cheaply built and can not handle the elements. This product used to be made by a company called RadDog but has since been acquired. In typical consumer goods fashion, the product was cheapened, lowered in quality and now mass produced to fail after only five months. This sucks

we have one that is at least 4 years old for our 50lb pitty, never a hiccup. just got one a few weeks ago for our 20 lb Dox and it broke within a week, it stopped retracting. We have received a replacement so if I go a while with the new one not breaking I will upgrade to 4 stars. these are great when you walk your dog "off leash" for a while and you have "leash nazis" around.

We hike with our dog on trails where you're supposed to have your dog on a leash. Well, he is really great about staying near us, but we like to have him on a leash when people pass us by, to be polite. This thing makes it so easy! He is 23 lbs and it looks a little big on him, but he doesn't seem to mind. It's nice being able to easily just grab the loop, pull out the lead, and restrain him as long as needed. Much better than carrying a leash around with you that you don't use the majority of the time. My dog doesn't pull so I'm not sure how well it would hold up to a lot of tugging -- the lead is pretty thin, but could be strong for its size. Highly recommended for well-behaved trail dogs!

This is a game changer, I take my puppy mountain biking and this makes it so easy to get in and out if the trail safely

whilst the concept is great the application is not good, I used mine a couple of times then the lead would not retract. Also the lead is way to short i had to practically bend in half so my dog wouldn't choke whilst i held the lead, i do not recommend this product

I only wish the leash was longer. It's super convenient to walk the dog. Hold them for emergencies such as traffic or a bunny. Won't get the leash dirty or have to remove and put back on as much. Walking made easy!

This product is good for hiking or when you are in safe off leash areas and might just need to grab your dog quick to make someone else feel comfortable, or to walk by other dogs.What i do like is how light and simple it is to use.What I don't like is the retractable cord, I'd pay up for a ribbon retractable, which is safer.I'd be happy with a shorter length and a ribbon retractable, sort of like a traffic leash/traffic handle.Also if you have a very strong dog or a reactive dog, this is not for you. If your dog is smaller than 50lb, this is not for you. My dogs are 55/60Lb and the small size is big on them--not big enough to fall off, but not snug at all. They do have slim necks.
